Hi everybody!
To answer some questions that may come up in the near future I figured I’d make a general post about the future here.
I’ve decided to put my LLC(Operating as Countryside Boarding & Grooming)up for sale. I will NOT be leaving until someone has taken my place and I know my clients are taken care of. I plan on making the transition as smooth as possible, I don’t want there to be any period where operations have stopped.
As far as reasoning- to make a long story short- my heart calls me to another part of the country where I’d like to start a family. If I could pick this place up and move it with me I would. I plan on pursuing more pet business ideas in a new location once settled.
To all clients- I’m so so grateful for all of you! I’ve made so many great relationships with pets as well as owners and your kindness the past two years has not gone unnoticed. I opened when I was 21 and did not know what I was doing running a business all I knew was pets and how to care for them. You all made it so much fun learning how to operate more efficiently. You were all patient and kind and it gave me all the motivation I needed to be a better business owner and grow.
As for the timeline moving forward I quite honestly have no idea lol much like starting the business I have no idea how to sell one either 😂 My main priority is finding someone that will be the best fit but I have no clue how long that would take. It’s a great opportunity for someone to get into a business that has a smooth operation already functioning. If any of you guys have advice I’m all ears.

Dizzy(Himalayan cross) and Reggie(Orange Tabby) are on the hunt for their forever home 🏡
These lovely boys are both about 11 years old, UTD on everything, neutered, and front declawed. Litter box pros and good with other pets. They have spent their whole lives together so they will have to go as a bonded pair.
Dizzy is very social and soaks up allllll the love he can get. He’s very quirky and loves to lay in the sink he also tries to play with my 13 year old Pitbull. Reggie is more of a shy feller and will take more time to adjust compared to his brave brother but he is still a friendly boy who appreciates some love especially if that means getting some cookies.
The boys have been nothing but lovely to have here and we would love to see them start the new year with their forever family. If you are interested or would like more info please reach out ❤️🐈

SCAMMERS BE SCAMMING
To any other pet businesses out there watch out for scammers like this! Never heard of this happening or seen it before now. I had been emailing back and forth for a day or so collecting information to set up a boarding reservation. Something felt off immediately but couldn’t confirm right away- things kept getting more fishy as I asked more questions. Fake phone number, fake vet records and pictures of animals pulled from Google.
In conclusion- trust your gut and don’t give anyone your money or info 😂

We are driving a truckload of pet donations to send to hurricane victims in the North Carolina/Tennessee area! We plan on going over tomorrow at 12pm if anyone would like to drop off any pet supplies for us to add to the truck feel free to do so- if it is after business hours just leave on the porch by our entrance and we can bring it in! 🐶💕🐱

Meet JJ!!
JJ is looking for his forever home 🏠
We are not sure his breed we are guessing chi/border terrier! He is a 6y/o neutered male about 15lbs and is just a sweet little boy. He is potty trained and when he decides it’s bedtime he loves to go relax in his crate. Seems to do well with other dogs although he’s only really been around other small/medium sized pups. Good around chickens and cats as well. We think JJ would probably do fine with children too. He is super smart and knows tricks like sit, lay down, spin and shake- which he is very happy to do for a treat!! He seems to adjust to new home life pretty easy but may have a little seperation anxiety while adjusting. He isn’t a big fan of yelling he will join in with his big boy bark and get a little shaky.
Pictures do not do this boy justice he really is such a cute little guy with goofy eyebrows. We absolutely love having him. If you are interested please contact us over messenger or call/text 715-291-9633.

KITTY UPDATE
Many of you have met Kitty over the last couple months and know how sweet she is. I’ve been suspicious she had more health issues than initially thought. I have gotten more diagnostic work on her and found she has high thyroid and heart failure. She will need multiple meds everyday for the rest of her life and unfortunately her time is likely quite limited. For this reason she is no longer going to be adoptable.
She is comfortable and still has life left to live and I can’t stand the thought of her not having a home while at the end of her life so she will be coming home with me to going my gang of rapscallions.
Kitty and I thank everyone for the shared and the support 💖She will be well loved and cared for until the end!

For those of you looking for a full list of grooming services and pricing 🙂
Would anyone be interested in doing something like “toenail tuesdays” where 9am-3pm nail trims are discounted and it could be either scheduled or walk ins? I’ve been rolling some ideas around for a bit that may be helpful to those who may want grooming for their pets but not have the financial ability to regularly have it done. I would love to hear your input or any other ideas you may have that’d be helpful for the community!!

Hi!! This little gal just came in today and is looking for a forever home!!
Meet PIPPA! Pippa is a small girl possibly Jack Russell/rat terrier but not 100% sure. She is four months old, 13lbs and just recieved her first vaccines today. She’s extremely friendly and very loving. She is pretty quiet for her age and suspected breeds as well. Loves to be in your lap and petted as much as possible. With her age she’s very trainable and seems to be friendly with other animals. Haven’t noticed any vices as far as being possessive or aggressive.
We don’t want her to be stuck here in a kennel instead of a home so we’d love to find a good fit for her asap
