Puppies had their first shot done and microchip when they saw the vet yesterday. All healthy and look great according to our vet! It was such an exciting outing...they all promptly arrived home and took a nap. 🤣

Hello all, hope everyone is well. Still dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl, as it tore my neighborhood up a bit with downed trees and lines. All is okay for us and the pups though, have our generator running with ac for them and trying to keep it as much as we can like normal. Please be patient with me if you try to reach out as signal and cell service is hit and miss in my area currently...I'll return questions and calls as I can when I have a signal. Thanks so much for your patience!

Well...puppies were supposed to have their vaccination done on Monday, but due to hurricane Beryl bearing down on the Houston area...it's been postponed to Thursday.

They're all snoozing on mama's bed while I change the bedding in their pen. Small protesting was had until they discovered it smelled like mama, then back to sleep they went. 1st deworming was done today at 2 weeks old.

I know everyone wants more puppy content...and I'll have more posted very soon, but I want to put out an important reminder.

As my 09/2022 litter gets closer to its 2nd birthday, it's important to start thinking about getting their cardiac checkup done to make sure their hearts are working perfectly and problem free. The Doberman breed is unfortunately prone to dcm, so getting their heart health checkup annually is a step in the right direction to make sure they're healthy. Reach out to a vet who does canine cardiology local to you. Or one can rent a holter monitor and get the results diagnosed by a licensed vet, but an echocardiogram is needed to give a full heart picture of health.

They are officially here! 10 puppies total, 7 girls and 3 boys. Momma and babies are doing well so far. Wait list is open with a few more slots empty now (increased it due to how many were born).

Well, it's official! Pups arriving as of 10:40 pm on the 26th. Memorial day pups being born. 4 females and 3 males so far with at least 2 more expected.

Quick update as we approach the last weekend in March...I am on track to expect a litter from Freya and Odin around the end of May. Will be doing xray confirmation closer to then to get a puppy count (ultrasounds are earlier but unreliable on a count).

If you'd like to discuss joining my wait list (I have a few more spots open), let me know and we can discuss what you're looking for in a pup. Also have flight nannies if needed that are trustworthy.

We all know it's been excessively hot this summer, especially here in Texas...here are some tips to help keep our 4 legged companions staying cool during this heat. Also, for ideas on cool dog treats...pinterest has tons of different ideas to try!

Prepare wisely to protect your dog from the heat during summer, especially if you lose air conditioning. Keep your dog cool and avoid sunstroke.
