This year we had 2 amazing foals! Both boys! Both have new homes, and will be leaving in the next few weeks. Annabelle has a beautiful, HUGE black overo c**t with Panda, and Lady knocked her first baby out of the park with a beautiful, lit up buckskin overo c**t, who sold in less then 2 days.

Yesterday morning, Princess gave us a beautiful black baby boy, and this morning, Blue gave us a beautiful solid buckskin filly! All 4 are doing wonderful! More pictures to come!

Our old Blue girl is at day 324, and she generally foals around 325-330. Her belly has dropped, she’s started going off her feed, no resistance in her tail, and she is building a very nice bag. She has dropped off at the tail head (sunken in where her muscles have relaxed). She was very anxious and paced a lot last night. I’d say we’ll have a baby by Monday! This will be Blues last foal. She is bred to Panda, homozygous dominant extension (black) overo for a guarantee buckskin with a 50/50 shot at overo.

We have a name!!

Introducing TWF PANDAS CRYSTAL BELLE! Barn name ‘Crystal’ for those crystal blue eyes! We aren’t 100% sure, but we’re thinking this one will be staying! She’s just too perfect!

WE HAVE A NEW BABY! Panda and Annabelle created the most BEAUTIFUL baby girl, born around 7 this morning! Pictures to come soon!

Well, we are still waiting for the first foal of the year. Annabelle is holding strong at 356 days! Izzy is coming in at day 335. Nether seem to be in too big of a hurry to have these babies! 😏

Both mares are bred to our overo stud, Generating Panda Moons.

I was the bottom from day 1- only, in the show jumping world, and not barrels.

On a serious note- our foals are raised around 4 kids. They learn to accept and respect humans of all sizes, from birth. They are still babies, but as far as they can be kid safe, they are kid safe! (For a baby!)

Snow day at Thunder Walkin’ Farms! Lady is enjoysi g making snow angels! 🤣 a snow covered horse is a well insulated horse! If the snow is covering their backs and not melting, it means their body is retaining its heat. If they are wet, and the snow is melting, it means their coat isn’t doing it’s job, and they are loosing their heat. Everyone has a nice layer of snow on them! So yes, they are all warm and toasty!

First snow of the year! New Year’s Day we had temps in the 70s and tornadoes. The next day, temps dropped to in the low 30s upper 20s and snow. 🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ someone is confused what season we should be in!
