BEWARE FELLOW CROSSVILLE COMMUNITY:
I just want to put everyone of you on notice. I have some juicy gossip/drama for you this evening & it makes me sad that I have to inform you all of this. I’m not sure how yall are gonna feel about this, but stick with me for just a minute here…
So I’m the new owner of the bed & biscuit kennel & I had to fire a long time employee today. There were several reports that an employee had mistreated customers & their pets some even dating back to before I had even bought the kennel and one former customer claimed his dog had potentially been abused there in the past. So I finally figured out who was responsible for those actions & proceeded to let them go. Not to mention the cash register had come up short several times with this particular employee’s shifts & I had started to notice a pattern of strange behavior. So I tried to speak to this person to give them another chance in the past, but it seemingly continued to get worse. Shortly after I fired this person, I was sent a Nextdoor post made by a new user filled with all kinds of horrendous lies about our business. It was clear this former disgruntled employee had made this ugly post in an attempt of defamatory smears to destroy our business’s reputation. Now I know that our community is smarter than this & wont fall for these shenanigans of a disturbed, salty, fired employee that was exposed for misconduct.
So I come to you humbly this evening to ask, “ Will you stand with us against this appalling behavior & use your better judgment to reject the lies of someone who is just mad they lost their job?” It just doesn’t seem right to me that someone can disseminate lies about an establishment throughout a community & hurt that business. Especially when it’s not true! I know we’re better than this Crossville & I invite everyone to stop by our kennel anytime during business hours 7a-7p to check out our operations and see for yourself who is telling the truth in this matter. And I ask, what would you guys have done in a similar situation like this where you had an employee mistreating customers & pets? Would you have fired them or kept them around?
You can ask everyone of our staff members how many times I have emphasized to them how important it is to just be good to people and to just be good to pets. Heck that’s kinda our whole job at the B&B kennel. And who knows how many people this same employee has pushed away that we don’t even know about right now. Im so sorry if so guys , I apologize to anyone who crossed paths with this person and wasn’t treated right. I just hope & pray that everyone uses their better judgement in this situation & downright rejects the absolute lies this keyboard warrior attempts to spread about our business in the days ahead. Please stand with us friends & I promise we will get through this transitional period.
We’re working very hard every day to earn the community’s business & to take care of their pets in the best way possible as we make this kennel one of the best around. We take pet care very seriously & you can ask anyone that knows us (family, friends, employees, customers ) & we will not stand by and allow this individual to sow lies into the community about us. My significant other is a veterinarian & we take the very best care of every pet we cross paths with. We are so very strict on our staff about doing the same every single day! So we will not tolerate anyone who mistreats pets or people at our businesses! And I’d say the employee that was let go earlier today probably knows that better than anyone right about now. Thanks for your support, understanding, & patience. Hang in there friends, better days are coming!
