read the amazing word and truth about this wonderful breed. I can't put into words how disgraceful this world is towards this beautiful, amazing, loving, loyal breed. The media plays a huge role in this breed's horrid reputation. The negative perceptions that people have towards these wonderful dogs are a result of misinformation and lack of knowledge and facts that have been being spread by what I call "bandwagoners" for many, many years. The media does what they do best and leave out positive, valuable information and only cover the areas that look alluring to consumers and makes for an interesting news article. They do it for the the ratings. People want to hate this breed so much, and I just don't understand it. This breed is the most overbred, neglected, and abused breed today. They make up more than 40% of the animal shelter population in America and are the most euthanized breed in America. Facts indicate that in Los Angeles alone there are 200 Pit Bulls killed EVERY day. That is 1,400 Pit Bulls killed each week and 72,800 Pit Bulls killed each year....JUST IN LOS ANGELES!! By whom are these amazing animals treated so terribly? By our fellow, 2-legged human culprits. It's sick, disgusting, recreational fun to the wicked-minded and an income to dog fighting gamblers. Neither intention is better than the other. If raised, treated, and cared for properly (as any other breed), this breed is the most loyal, loving, and intelligent breed out there. I created this page as a louder voice than my own for these amazing dogs. I hope to spread the truth and facts from person to person with the help of all of my fellow Pit Bull lovers and advocates through this page. I hope to change the mind and opinion of misguided and misinformed people and broaden their knowledge about the breed. No matter what, there will always be skeptics and critics, but I will never bow down to their ignorance. I will stand up and be a loud and proud voice for this awesome breed until my last breath.
