Who doesn’t love dog kisses when you are having a bad day!! Anyway, between my love for dogs and love of making things, I have had to narrow my interests down in the last few years mostly due to floor space. My husband said I need to start selling rather than just buying. (Crafts…not the dogs!)

I have narrowed my craft interests down to working with leather, and recently material I can use in my

Glowforge. I started collecting leather tools more than 20 years ago. My bestie from high school and I joked that we were practicing to be TMI (Tandy Merchandise Inspectors) when we grew up…because we kept buying things from Tandy, but not actually putting them to use! Recently, I gotten addicted to creating some really neat items with the help of Makers Leather Supply (makersleathersupply.com) and Tandy Leather (tandyleather.com). All of their wonderful templates and videos have allowed me to get out of my comfort zone and create awesome items, that up until now have only been given as gifts. To tell the truth…the Mystery boxes from Makers Leather Supply are my weakness!!! The recipients of these gifts have been very vocal about wanting me to sell what I make, and different ways to personalize the items. That is where the Glowforge has come in. I purchased it to personalize my leather products. The bonus of that decision, is I can do many other things with the Glowforge as well! Yay!! However, please bear with me, since I am still a Glowforge newbie, but I can’t wait to see what kind of things I can create! So, thank you for reading this little description of me. I hope you will be frequent visitor to my site and check out the new things I decide to experiment with!! PS - if you are wondering…Emma is one of my German Shepherds. She keeps me company quit often in my craft rooms, and really has a need to destroy bubble wrap! Thanks again for stopping by! Denise

So got to go to the dog show this weekend. Was great weather, even tho I seem to be going through my own personal summer AGAIN! Ugh! Anyway, it was kinda slow, but I did sell one of the unfinished scissor cases with an order to add a laser engraving to it for them. Sold lots of earrings, a few keychains, and a few book markers. I was also asked to come back for other events as a vender. So that was great! Here are a few pics of the booth. There was a gorgeous Leonberger I met in one of the pics. And a pic of how foggy it was on Sunday! Very grateful to my mother in law for being there to help me, and my sister in law for stopping in to check on us and help a bit when her busy schedule that weekend allowed!

Still working on the scissor cases. Attaching the inside to the outside pieces so I can sew them together. Added a pic below with one of the cases. This one is an Olive color outside with a dark brown inside.
But got my new postcard size business cards in, and had to make a quick holder for them! I think it will work pretty well! And will hold a few pens so I know where to find them if I need to write down info for any orders I get next weekend!

Getting rather excited. Doing lots of things to prepare for the Butler County Kennel Clubs's Autumn Classic. It is at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds on September 21 - 22. Hours on Saturday and Sunday are 8:30 - 4:30. Apparently anyone can come, you just need to pay for parking (not sure how much that is).

Lawrence County Fairgrounds is located at 464 Midway Road, New Castle, PA.

So anyone interested, please stop by and say hi!

Trying to get more dog related items ready. We will see how far I get.
There was an interest with the dog handlers for scissor cases. So I am working hard to get what I can done. I have 13 cut out right now. But can take orders while I am there too. Here are the outside colors of the cases I will have this weekend. I think they are pretty colorful. I will try to post some more pics once I have them sewn together. The other pic with the shamrocks in them are some of the leather being used on the inside of the cases. I used all I had to get these 13 made, so will need to order some more of that thin leather!

Also trying to get a few other items put together, but we will see how far I get. Some days I wish I had more hands!! LOL

Hi ya all, it has been a month, and I know, I have been pretty quiet. Been working on the website and are getting closer to getting it operational. In the meantime, I did engrave a couple boards for some friends, they came out pretty well. One was for a wedding & to go with the wedding board/camping theme, I added some extendable skewer sticks and some kabob baskets. They all seemed to go over well with the recipients. Have a great last weekend in July!!

Hi everyone. Hope your weekend is going well. Wanted to share a few things I have been doing recently.
I made 2 clutch purses for a family member's HS graduation. They came out pretty nice, if I do say so myself. LOL
There are also some keychains I made to give out at an event I am going to at the end of the month. They can also be used to put on any products I make. They have my new website (still being constructed) and this page address. I am thrilled with how they are coming out.

Went north to get some beautiful chairs from some very talented close friends, and spent a few days catching up. Since we were going up just before her birthday, I made a few pieces of this very pretty set. The board and the coasters are Olive Wood, and the I had a 6 piece Cheese set that went pretty well with them.
Love the lighthouse design I found on Etsy. It worked for all the sizes!

The Bazaar on Saturday was fun. Lots of beautiful items were offered by all of the venders! It was kind of slow however, due to the rain. But, we still made a profit, and met lots of nice people. The next task is to try and get my website up. I realize there are a lot of things I can offer there, and reach more people.

I have lots of products that are available for personalization, and that is rather difficult to do at a booth.
If you are interested in personalized merchandise for a special event coming up, please take a look at the photos of the boards we have to over under the photos on this page!
I also have some other items that can be personalized, if you are not interested in boards.
I will get some pics of those up in the next few days, along with some more of the inventory I have available.

Hey everyone! Sorry things have been so quiet! We have gotten somewhat settled again, and I am getting new pics made up to put up on the Etsy site, with all the inventory I currently have made up. I hope to get them up soon.
Since getting back, I did finish up 2 "baby bags" I made for a new member of the framily! They were totes that I lined and added some elastic inside to hold a bottle. (Definitely don't want those tipping over in the bag! Would make the baby even crankier!) Anyway, I am heading back to get more pics, and will let you know when they are up on the website!
