Maggie is figuring out how its done, she is a first time mom , sorting out feeding a family of 6 takes some time getting all the new babies lined up, this is why the next couple of weeks are very important that we are 24/7 helping her to ensure everyone is eating, everyone is gaining weight and that she is in the groove of keeping them all cleaned, if not we step in.
Breeding, when done right is a challenge for first couple of weeks let alone the first 48 hours when the babies have moms colostrum to consume, very important they all get as much as possible as it contains some of whats needed to set up their immune systems for development and the beginning of various protections against various illnesses.
