Our 3 Grand Queens at MajestiC**n. These ladies are Authentic True Type Maine C***s with bloodlines that trace back years and years to the early days of Maine C**n breeding nearing 50 years now, 50 years of healthy breeding, yes, 50 years of traceable pedigrees. Absolutely incredible and the life's work of Lucille and Anita and now our honorable duty to carry forward.

Most breeders today are lucky to have 2 or 3 years, maybe 5 years of continued bloodlines.

MajestiC**n is almost 50 years old. this is very important when looking for high quality Maine C**n Kittens.

Some of you have met them in person and you know first hand their size, wonderful personalities and overall quality in their appearance.

These tremendous examples of Authentic Maine C***s were bred by Lucille before she retired and they came to us I think in 2020 with several others from the UK.

This is the True MajestiC**n and many of you have offspring from these ladies or in some cases they may be grandparents of your Kittens/Cats.

Pictured are MajestiC**n Justina or Just Perfect on the top left. MajestiC**n Valentina in the middle and on the floor is MajestiC**n Jolie or JoJo who will be having kittens next week.

Direct offspring of these 3 have been kept back in the cattery to continue the magnificent MajestiC**n look that is very sought after in the USA and Europe.

This MajestiC**n look must carry on and it shall for years to come.

The Citrus County Sheriff’s Office Emergency Management is monitoring potential Tropical Cyclone 4. This is an unpredictable storm. The National Hurricane Center is conducting further analysis, but the final track is uncertain - meaning the cone can move.

The exact impacts of storm surge and wind on the Florida peninsula are truly unknown at this time.

The National Hurricane Center is flying a Hurricane Hunter aircraft into the storm today to get better information.

We do know, at the minimum, that this will be a rainmaker with a total potential of up to 8 inches. Local areas in Citrus County will most likely see flooding.

Citrus County officials will meet today to discuss potential Emergency Protective Actions. At that time, decisions will be made about whether shelters will be opened.

What should you be doing at this time? REMAIN CALM, be patient, and have a plan.

Florida Maine C***s has also joined CFA - The Cat Fanciers Association, this means that we have recognition in the 2 major cat registries in the USA. We are registered under the names, MAJESTICOONS in CFA as well as MAJESTICOON and OPTICOONS in TICA.

Let me please provide some additional clarification. Many years ago when we began breeding we were registered only with TICA under OptiC***s, We acquired MajestiC**n from our Mentor Lucille in, i think 2020 which is also a TICA registered name.

When we decided to register the cattery in CFA we tried to register MajestiC**n in CFA only to find out it was already registered in CFA by the original owner Anita whom has since passed and to the name was acquired by Lucille many years ago.

With all that being said and i hope it makes sense, going back nearly 50 years now the MajestiC**n name has become synonyms with the much sought after High Quality and Authentic Maine C***s of today.

So we could not use the name MajestiC**n in CFA so we just added an "S" for MajestiC***s. The good news is the name MajestiC**n will be forever associated with the original breeder Anita. and i think that's quite okay, the bad news, if there is any, is we are MajestiC**n in TICA and MajestiC***s in CFA.

Soon the name OptiC***s will be retired as we become soley Florida Maine C***s LLC, Breeders of the Historic MajestiC**n Maine C**n. which is in my mind paying homage to the 2 caretakers that came before us, Anita and Lucille and with a little luck those whom come after Ginnie and I will continue the line.

I may be wrong but i know of no other Maine C**n Cattery that has carried on as long as MajestiC**n, i think that's very special and so the tradition carries on,.
