Just some clarification so everyone understands:
To give a prescription to a pet or livestock, there must be a valid doctor/patient relationship. Meaning the animal must be evaluated within a year to obtain a prescription
Some medications require evaluation, some require testing. Other medications may just require a consult.
If there are any questions, please consult your veterinarian or veterinary staff, as I see a lot of bad advise given as well as bashing of veterinarians and clinics
Each doctor must abide by the law at the minimum but may also have their own recommendations and guidelines
