My name is Kelli and I'm 39 years old. I'm a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist and licensed Phlebotomist, but am staying at home with my 3 children instead of working in the medical field. I have a passion for caring for people and dogs. My home is located in Culloden, just outside of Hurricane and Rt. 60. I provide dog sitting services to those of you going on vacation, business trips, etc.
so your furry friend is in a loving, pet-friendly, smoke-free home. Homebound Hound became so popular that we expanded and are a limited liablility company now, a small WV business providing these services right from our own home. We have a renovated dog room featuring state-of-the-art, commercial grade heavy duty stainless steel stalls with rotating dish bowls. Each stall is 6 foot in height and 4 foot in depth and are separated by metal panels to provide privacy to each dog. The dog room creates an at home and safe environment during sleep and nap time. Walls are painted and adorned with dog art. We also have plenty of large crates in the additional room to accommodate for smaller breeds. We have a 5 year old pug Daisy and two one year old boxers, Willie and Mollie which are very sweet dogs and take up well to others. Our boxers are brother and sister and all three have been spayed and neutered. We also have a 2 year old cat named Clover that loves dogs too since he's been raised with them from a kitten. Don't worry if your dog doesn't like cats. Clover has his own room and they are separated. We also have a cat room downstairs with privacy and sunbathing if you'd like us to keep your kitties while you are away. We have plenty of room in our home and over 1 acre of metal fenced yard so your dog will have plenty of space for safe sun bathing and exercise, even water fun too. No dog will be left unsupervised during outside play. I have had dogs all my life and have cared for them on my own for over 19 years. Your dog will be treated as our own and I will text photos of your friend during their stay here, if you wish. I require that you provide proof of current rabies and bordatella vaccines, for the safety of our pets, as well as yours. Also, a .pdf of our liability waiver and pet information sheet will be emailed to you to fill out and bring on the day of drop-off or your can fill the forms out here if you do not have access to a printer. Your dog must be kid-friendly, house-trained and non-aggressive. Cost is $20/night per dog, $20/day for doggy daycare up to 14 hours and bathing upon request for one fee of $10 per small dog and $15 per large dog, if you'd like me to relieve you of that chore upon return from your trip. 2+ dogs receive a discount, $20/night for the first dog and $10/night for the second totaling $30/night. I will pick-up or drop-off your pet, if you prefer, for additional fees. Fees will be based upon your location. I honor a 10% military discount for the total balance, excluding pick-up/drop-off fees. I will provide their food for $2 a day or you can send their own if you want to keep them on their own diet, which is what most customers prefer. Each dog is fed according to the owner's schedule and separately. We have dog beds, blankets, bowls and toys or you're welcome to send your own. Reservations are set according to approval and availability, as I can only keep a certain amount of dogs in our home at at time, assuring you that your dog is receiving all the love and attention they deserve!
