Spring Gap Farm offers private and group riding lessons, summer day camps and guided rides. We welcome riders of all ages and abilities!

Spring Gap Farm (AK Equine) offers a secure and enjoyable environment where clients can learn horse riding and appreciate the sport. We provide a range of programs for all levels, from beginner to advanced. Our beginner programs are designed to be fun and engaging with horses. As clients progress, we gradually introduce the technical aspects of riding, allowing everyone to advance at a comfortable

pace. SGF participates in local horse shows, hunter paces, fox hunts, and many other exciting events. Located in Cumberland, Maryland, Spring Gap Farm invites you to join in the fun today! All services are available strictly by appointment, and instructional guided rides necessitate a 48-hour advance notice. We appreciate your cooperation.

If you’re not familiar, hunter paces are friendly competitions that recreate the feel of a foxhunt. Riders follow a scenic course across open country, aiming to match the “ideal hunting time.” It’s the perfect mix of adventure and tradition! 🦊

We’re thrilled to share that our very own Kina Davis has earned her colors with Bull Run Hunt! This is such a well-deserved honor and a reflection of her dedication, horsemanship, and love for the sport.

In foxhunting, earning your colors is a special recognition granted to riders who have shown outstanding commitment, skill, and sportsmanship. It’s a mark of respect and belonging within the hunt field, and members are given the privilege of wearing the hunt’s distinctive colors on their coat.

We couldn’t be prouder to see Kina representing Spring Gap Farm and Bull Run Hunt with such grace and grit! 🦊✨
