We’re thrilled to share that our very own Kina Davis has earned her colors with Bull Run Hunt! This is such a well-deserved honor and a reflection of her dedication, horsemanship, and love for the sport.

In foxhunting, earning your colors is a special recognition granted to riders who have shown outstanding commitment, skill, and sportsmanship. It’s a mark of respect and belonging within the hunt field, and members are given the privilege of wearing the hunt’s distinctive colors on their coat.

We couldn’t be prouder to see Kina representing Spring Gap Farm and Bull Run Hunt with such grace and grit! 🦊✨

Spring Gap Farm had a wonderful time at Goshen Hounds hunter pace!

It was a beautiful day spent on course with great horses, even better company, and a fantastic meal at Black Rock to wrap it all up.

For those new to the tradition, hunter paces are friendly competitions inspired by the sport of foxchasing. Teams ride a marked flat or natural jump course, aiming to match the “ideal” pace set by seasoned hunt riders combining strategy, horsemanship, and a shared love for the outdoors.

We’re so grateful for days like these and the community that makes them special. 💚

What a day at the Howard County Iron Bridge Fall Hunter Pace! 🐎🍂

Spring Gap Farm had an incredible time out on course! Our seasoned riders showed the ropes to our new hunter pace students who are officially hooked after their first pace! 💪✨

A huge thank you to everyone who helped out, cheered, and represented SGF with such great sportsmanship and smiles. We’re so proud of our team, both two-legged and four-legged, for making the day such a success! 💚

Spring Gap Farm had a wonderful weekend with the Mountain Top Saddle Club at their first hunter jumper schooling show! Our riders and horses brought home an impressive number of ribbons. 🏅🐴
