Our main room is very full! The cats are starting to feel cramped, and we are getting requests to take on many more cats. We cannot do that without adoptions. So next week, we will be doing an "open" adoption for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Thursday 3/31, 12 pm - 5 pm
Friday 4/1, 11am - 3 pm
Saturday 4/2, 12 pm - 6 pm
These days, you can show up anytime to meet cats! If you send us an application before those days, we can get you pre-approved, and you can take home your new family member that day. If you aren't sure you want to adopt, you are welcome to come and meet all the cats and fill out an application (if you fall in love) while you are here. Give us 24 hours to approve it, and you can come right back to get your new baby.
Some important details
1. We have cats of all ages, colors, and personalities. There are almost 50 cats ready to go right now.
2. Your new cat will be fixed, Fiv/FeLV tested, rabies vaccinated, and have at least their first FVRCP vaccine.
3. They will be given a dewormer and dose of revolution that day.
4. If you have ANY issues with your new friend, we do lifetime returns. For the first 14 days after adoption, we cover any vet bills for things we could have missed.
5. If you are going to adopt that day, you MUST bring a carrier, no carrier, no take home.
6. Unfortunately at this moment, the building is not wheel chair accessible. I am working very hard to change that as soon as possible, and I apologize deeply apologize to everyone for that.
Please , please share this post and consider adoption! The longer we are full, the longer we have to say no. While we are no-kill, saying no often means death for cats in bad situations who cannot make it to the safety of our rescue. We have so many AMAZING cats here who will love you endlessly.

This is Delilah! She lives here at the rescue. She has always been very feral. No touching, petting, picking up and runs if you walk near her. She really likes to go down to the basement. Today I was doing laundry down there and spending time with our 'basement gang' which are the cats who like to go down there. Its adults only, so most of the older cats like to chill down there away from the chaos of the kittens. Delilah has lived with is for almost two years. While I was down there she was rubbing up on Crane (who she is bonded to) and I leaned down and she let me pet her. I have never touched her, or petted her at all! This is an amazing step for her and I'm so excited! She did get weary again once I stood up, but shes making progress! I wonder what changed her mind?

Scooter is a 1.5 year old Male that we went and picked up today. He has severely deformed back legs that make walking difficult.
He has NEVER been to the vet. We're hoping to get funding to get him fully checked out.

Theo is kinda weird. 😹😹😹😻
Theo is one of our special needs kitties! She is available for adoption, but her issues restrict her from being placed with any children. Theo had a severe rectal prolapse as a kitten. This has resulted in very weak rectal muscles. Because of that Theo has a hard time making it to the litterbox and her poos are typically liquid. She is not sick, she just doesn't have the muscles to properly process feces. BUT even if she can't make it to the litterbox, she does usually make it atleast to the litterbox room! Shes a very sweet little girl, who needs a VERY understanding home. Shes a little over a year now. Shes a bit timid and doesn't enjoy being picked up. But LOVES to be cuddled and touched. She especially loves head scratches and rubbing her face on men's facial hair. 😂 she's a little character. Her adoption fee is 50 dollars with an approved application.
