13 weeks old 🐾

These girls are spunky, playful and just too sweet for their own good! They are SO smart and starting to learn essential commands like “sit”, “come”, and mostly “NO!” 🤣

A few days ago we had our last vet check up as puppies🥺, I guess that makes them big girls now!

These babies had their 9 week check up today and are growing like weeds! They weigh just about 10 pounds each! 🤍

After a nap on the way home they enjoyed their afternoon playing, wrestling, sharing some puppy kisses and gnawing on some KONG toys!

Welcome to Shelfer Bay Labradors!

We are Tyler & Haley Ballard, owners of the Shelfer Bay Labradors breeding and training facility in the northwest panhandle of Florida. 👋🏼

We have owned Labrador retrievers our whole lives and have grown to absolutely love this breed. Our dogs are our family and we don’t know what we’d do without them. The idea for Shelfer Bay (named after a swamp on our property) came out of demand. Finding a reputable & professional breeder in our area became extremely hard. At one point or another you’d run into health issues, inbreeding, unprofessionalism, puppy farms or confirmation flaws with the dogs. So we wanted to create the first elite dog breeding facility in the Florida panhandle! A facility where the health and confirmation of our dogs would be our utmost priority. Dogs would be treated and cared for like family from the day that they are born. We want to supply hunters with elite hunting partners & supply families with loyal companions. Shipping across the U.S. !

Even though we are a couple years away from having our first litter of pups, we want you to get to know our dogs like your own! We hope this page tells our story! Follow us for cute puppy pictures, dog content, and updates!
