Feral cats are fiercely independent and survive (but may not thrive) without the help of humans. They avoid people and hide, back away, or flee when they spot humans. Lack of immunization, parasite control, adequate nutrition, and hygiene put feral cats at risk of many life-threatening problems. TNR (Trap, Neuter, and Release) programs are the hallmark of controlling feral cat populations.

Hey everyone! We are trying to help out an active-duty military member and his pup by finding him a great, new home! Unfortunately the owner is being stationed overseas and cannot take his beloved pup, Rebel, with him.

Rebel is an 8 year old bulldog who has been a loyal companion, but despite months of trying, his owner has not been able to find him a new home. As his departure date approaches, options are running out.

Rebel is a sweet boy with a manageable allergic skin condition that requires daily medication, costing about $100 a month.

Regular wellness exams and laboratory testing are designed to detect hidden disease in senior dogs, allowing earlier intervention to manage or slow the progress of the disease. Typical testing in senior and geriatric dogs includes complete blood count (CBC) that assesses the red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets; a biochemistry panel that provides information about the organs, electrolytes, blood sugar, and proteins; urinalysis that assesses kidney function and can identify inflammation or infection in the urinary tract; and a thyroid test to screen for hypothyroidism.
