Please do not buy. Throw them away if your dog gets one as a gift. Giving rawhide to a dog is never a good idea.

Many of these so called treats end up with the dog "enjoying" some time in a veterinary surgery over Christmas. The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.

The chews are made from cattle or horse hides and their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulfide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.

Now comes the pretty festive colors and the glue to form cute shapes. On testing, these chews have shown traces of arsenic, mercury, chromium and formaldehyde.

If that wasn't bad enough, they regularly cause intestinal blockages, poisoning from chemical residue and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.

She might look like the baby of the pack but she is. Lol she is up and coming here at the CBB. She will be 2 in august. I can’t wait to see what she can produce. But what I do know is there will be some wrinkles! MS. BETTY BOP has some big shoes to fill now that MS. JENNY WENNY is gone to doggy heaven. 💔

Yesterday was a really hard day! We lost our Jenny! She is now in doggy heaven! This is one of the hardest lost I have ever dealt with. She was our main girl! She slept with my son every night. She would jump right up on my boyfriend and sleep on his chest for hours. All this girl ever wanted was to be loved and played with. Jenny you fought hard! We love you and we will miss you!

Let me just make a reminder! When you buy a puppy from me there is a contract that has to be signed by you before the puppy leaves all I’m asking is for you to go by that contact so with that being said DO NOT SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR DOG BEFORE HE OR SHE IS 2!!

Today we want to remember all the ones from 9/11 people and dogs. My family is really big on first responders and our military. Things like this will always hit home. My son wants to be a cop, fire fighter, and doctor so he can help everyone.
