As always, Zavi shined (as a veteran should), the new pup Dagger did very well, Riggs enjoyed an intro to bite work and Kyle got serious about his future as a Police Dog. Even Saber had the chance to play.

When the phone rings late at night and it’s one of your dog’s handlers, the thought always crosses your mind that it could be bad news. Always hopeful that it’s the handler with a question or a that the dog did the job he or she was trained to do.

It’s nice to help a client find a new dog. Today we introduced our client to K9 Life and these two were paired up. Testing went very well “Dagger” performed well. He showed K9 Life has a great program and “Dagger” has sound environmental exposures and solid genetics. He has a clear head and outstanding drives!

I have to say that these two hit it off wonderfully and we are looking forward to seeing them grow together through training!

Rest easy K9 Max.

Your thoughts and prayers were felt and appreciated, however, we have received an update that leaves us with heavy hearts.

After further medical evaluation and examinations, it was determined that Max is suffering from an illness that is not survivable.

Considering the diagnosis and current condition, the very difficult decision was made to let Max go peacefully.

At this time, we ask for continued thoughts and prayers for Max, his handler Officer Anders and the entire police department.

A public memorial will be planned later this week. Details will be provided for the community to come together and celebrate Max.
