ADOPTED! 🥳 Hello! My name is Charcoal. I am a 2 year old, 12 pound, male, poodle mix. Whenever I see people I start hopping with joy, I love people and giving them kisses. I walk very well on a leash, and love playing with my toys. I am a super loyal dog and I love following my people around. I get on great with other dogs, and cats. I would be perfect for a home looking for a cute, happy dog to play with or snuggle up with.

It’s our favorite day of the week… CATURDAY! 🐱 We have a handful of very special and wonderful kitties looking for purr-ever homes. Autumn is a beautiful time of year, but there can be some pet hazards during this season. Here are some yard cleaning safety tips to consider:

🐈 When applying lawn care products, confine your pet in a safe area.
🐕‍ If your pet is exposed to any products, contact your primary care veterinarian immediately.
🍑 Even fruit that has fallen to the ground (e.g., fruit pits, berries, seeds, leaves, stems, etc.) need to be removed from the yard.
🌿 Plants that have lost their leaves can pose a hazard to your pet’s eyes as they run or play in the yard. Secure plants with a small barrier until they sprout leaves.

If your pet is exposed to any substances you’re concerned about, contact your primary care veterinarian immediately.

If your pet is experiencing an emergency, contact EAHCC at (214) 547-9900, we are open 24/7 for pet emergencies and urgent care.
