Ebbie is looking for a new home! She is a sweetheart but her mom got a new job and can't spend much time with her.

Ebbie is a 2 year-old female pit mix. She would love to have a yard where she could run and play. She would do best with older children and a calm environment. She would also love to have someone take her for walks and runs to get out some of her energy.

Aunt Liz's Pack is willing to help with the transition to her new home, and 50% discount on one follow-up session.

Scout has a history of resource guarding & tragically has k*lled another dog. Despite popular belief, little dogs are capable of doing as much damage as the big dogs. Scout is not the first little dog I have worked with that has this history. ⁣

Dogs are predators. Plain & simple. With healthy communication skills, consistent boundaries, & daily structure we can form an indescribable bond with our dog (and in turn our dog lives a happier, less stressful life)! ⁣

Scout is on the path of becoming a properly socialized pup & we are more than excited to be working with him! ⁣

Gayle taught me how to empower myself, love all animals, show compassion towards & truly understand all humans. She also taught me how to work my butt off towards goals at such a young age (beginning with my Irish Step Dancing competitions). I’m so lucky to call her my momma❤️

Did you know that black dogs find it difficult to become adopted? Particularly larger black dogs – they are often left forgotten in what many shelter workers call black dog syndrome. According to shelters, black dogs (as well as cats) stay in shelters for longer and many of them end up getting euthanized as a result.
One dog who almost got euthanized because of this is ALP’s very own Chevy. Chevy was only 4 hours away from being euthanized before being pulled out by Aunt Liz. Now Chevy lives with Aunt Liz and her pack. He has grown to be one of the best dogs ALP could ever ask for. We still have no idea why anyone didn’t want to adopt him. Unfortunately not many other black dogs have the same fate. So today we encourage others to adopt black dogs/cats and give them a home. For those of you who have already adopted a black dog, we thank you for giving them a chance.

Welcome our newest member to ALP!⁣ ⁣ This sweet chap is named Yogi. ⁣ ⁣ Yogi is “perfect majority of the time until he’s not”..sound familiar?? 😆 ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ We think Yogi is always perfect all of the time! He just has a few quirks to work through. Yogi is a member if the Bite History Club. Whenever he is crated, in a nook, around food, or sees a stranger on the other side of a threshold/doorway— his adrenal response taps in. With patience & the proper approach, Yogi is finding the peace he has always longed for. He wouldn’t have been able to start this journey without his incredibly loving & dedicated momma🙏⁣ ⁣ PS— Notice how Yogi’s tail is wagging more towards one side, this is a PRIME indicator of agitation. The team worked with her on staying seated and calm before releasing her to go get the toy!
