The Honey Bunch turned 8 weeks old yesterday! 🍯 They are so fun, and friendly, and excited to go do things. It’s bittersweet for me, because today they start going home. So here are my long awaited placement announcements:
💖Acacia is equal parts adorable and trouble, and if she’s not asking for tummy rubs, she’s running around laughing. Like a lot of you guessed, she is staying with me. 🥰 We will work towards neutral dog work, and all the sports, and will go on such great adventures together. New name to be determined.
💙My mini-Bee, Wild, is now Sequel and is going to Bee’s breeder Amanda Travers. She is so sweet, and kissy, and worms up to say hi. She gets to have other dogs and a kid to play with! And she’ll get to do some training and nosework. I’m flying her up to New York today!
💛Buckwheat (Bucky) is cuddly and laid back with a love for stalking and wrestling with his siblings. He and Acacia are too good of friends to separate, so I’m very excited that he’s staying local with my cobreeder Rachel Vogt and her husband Sean Vogt. Bucky gets to be a farm dog, help socialize other dogs, and do all the sports. And I’m sure he’ll join his new housemates as a star in Sean’s hilarious dog posts.
💚Clover, now Coco, is going to live with Doree Donovan and her family. She is a snugglebug and a fiery player that reminds me of her mom. I am very excited that she’ll get to train towards Search and Rescue, and live her best life running and playing both at work and at home. She’ll start her journey to Colorado on Friday.
💙Tupelo is a lovely little dude who is so lucky to go to Kelly Keebler in North Carolina. Tupelo AKA Tupes, Poopelo, and Poops, plays, explores, and loves to give kisses in exchange for belly rubs. He’s fearless and will get to join Kelly at work, play agility, and go on hikes. I get to keep him a little longer but will miss him when he goes.
💜And last but not least Linden is temporarily staying with me. He is sassy, brave, and loves chase and herding his siblings. I haven’t found the right home for him yet, and I’ll post more about him later on a separate post.
I am totally overjoyed at the homes I have lined up, and their bright futures will just have to be my consolation prize for letting them go.
