“Daisy Mae” - 14H, 15 year old chestnut haflinger mare
Daisy Mae is very uncomplicated, point and shoot, and as easy to ride as they come! She is a big wide comfy coach, she has zero ambition to spook or run off. If you are looking for a seasoned relaxing confidence builder to ride around your place, ride to town, and hit the trails with, they don't come much better than this girl. She is just the right size at 14H, very convenient and easy to saddle and to stop on and off of, but stout enough made and big enough b***d to carry the larger riders and still short enough to not be intimidating to the little kids. Daisy is a super easy keeper, just lives turned out and maintains a great weight, she is hardy and as low maintenance as a horse comes. Daisy has been to many events and parades and she loads happily and loves going to town and seeing new places. She rides out well alone and if you are in a group, she is happy anywhere you want to travel along in the group. Daisy has not lived in a training program or any type of program and is great just pulled up once a year, once a week, or once a month - she knows the drill and knows her job and is the same horse every time. Daisy has also been barn kept before and she is relaxed and happy in a stall as well. Daisy was just trimmed this past week, her teeth were also done by an equine dentist last month, she has had her ears treated for ticks, and she was also power packed wormed. She is also good to shoe, but has great feet and goes very well barefoot - if her new owner prefers her to be shod, we can have her shod prior to her heading to her new home. She will arrive at her new home up-to-date and ready to go to work!
