Zeta - is a 4 year old Blue weimaraner and 60 lbs of pure love. Her one-of-a-kind personality is bubbly, quirky, and plain goofy! She steals balls from her foster friends to do her “show pony trot” to show it is time to play. She loves being outside running and chasing balls. Zeta would love a family that runs or goes on long walks. Once she bonds with her new family she will want to just hang out near you wherever you are- sometimes turning into a lap dog to get all the belly rubs she can. Your home will always be full of laughter with Zeta around! She’s truly a wonderful dog and companion. Zeta is fully house trained, great with dogs, cats, and children. Zeta has received 3 intensive weeks of training. She knows commands and comes with videos on how to reinforce training

Because of her rough start at life she needs slow introductions to a crate but once she is comfortable will go into her crate. For more info please contact info@rahrtotherescueorg

It has been an incredibly busy week for Rahr To The Rescue Because of you, we were able to give two pups life saving leg surgeries💙 We got this video and we couldn’t say no to number 3, Hachi. Please help us save Hachi. He needs to have his leg amputated. The vet said it will be approximately $850. I promise even just $5 dollars really adds up. After surgery this sweetest boy will be able for adoption.

Thank you Pearl's Place

Our dogs are all kept here on premises in heat/A/c kennels. Even with the heat the kennels can get down in the high 60’s. The dogs are all comfortable laying on their blankets, bellies full, toys to play and chew on.

This picture touched my heart for the simple reason that these dogs, no matter what we give them, truly only desire the necessities. Water, food and sunshine.

Mr. Big is sitting by the back door on this chilly day, simply waiting for the sun to shine in. That is his spot for his morning sun. His time to lay in the warmth and enjoy it, for the time it lasts. He doesn’t get sad when it’s gone. He doesn’t wonder why it had to end. For these dogs it is about the here and now.

Maybe as humans we should be a little more like our dogs. Stop worrying about all the stuff we want and enjoy the simple things. Stop planning our lives out for weeks, months or years. Tomorrow isn’t promised so let every minute count.

Let’s try today to be more like our dogs.
