Happy Easter!

Our office will be closed on Friday, March 29th for Good Friday. We will reopen on Monday, April 1st. If you need medicine refills please get them by Thursday, March 28th! If you have any questions give us a call! We hope everyone has a great Holiday weekend!

All of us here at Applewood Veterinary Hospital would like to wish you a wonderful holiday season!

Our clinic will be closed starting Monday, December 25th and Tuesday December 26th. We will reopen on Wednesday, December 27th for medicine pick-ups, baths, and boarding pick-up or drop-offs only until 4:30pm. Dr. Dutterer will return to the office on Thursday, December 28th and we will resume normal hours.

We will also be closed on Monday, January 1st 2024 for the New Years Holiday. Please plan accordingly if you need medicine refills or food pick up during these times.

Fall Rabies Clinic

Nov 6th -Nov 17th, 2023

We will be participating in the Gaston County Fall Rabies Clinic. Rabies vaccines will be $8/per pet for 1 or 3 year vaccines. We do Rabies vaccines in the mornings from 8am-12pm or in the afternoon from 3pm-5pm. Please give us a call at 704-922-0532 to schedule the Rabies vaccine for your pets!

Our office will be back open tomorrow normal hours but we will not have a veterinarian for the rest of the week as Dr. Dutterer has Covid. You can come in this week for nail trims, baths and medicine pick ups. We will reach out to reschedule all appointments for the remainder of the week. We hope for him to be back in the office next week as long as he is feeling better. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We hope everyone has been having a good holiday season so far. Just wanted to give a few reminders when the office will be closed for the Holidays. For the Christmas Holiday we will be closed Monday, December 26th-27th. We will reopen on Wednesday, December 28th. For the New Year's Holiday we will be closed on Monday, January 2nd and reopen on Tuesday, January 3rd. If you need emergency care over the holidays there are several clinics in the area listed below that can help. Some are 24/7 and others have limited hours. The Gaston County Fall Rabies Clinic will be held from Monday, October 10th-Friday, October 21st. The cost is $8.00 per vaccine. We do Rabies Vaccines from 8-12am and 3-5pm. Please call to schedule a time to bring in your pet.

We wanted to provide a update about some changes around our clinic. With all the construction going on around us with the new Industrial Park we now have a new address for the clinic. Don’t worry we haven’t moved! Our new address is now 5010 Apple Creek Parkway Dallas, NC 28034. We still have our sign at the end of the road for now.
