Nox earned his AKC STAR Puppy title today! We love to support our local dog AKC dog club and it’s such a great experience for young puppies! Nox is a half brother to our current litter, they share the same papa, Sig! Nox has matured so nicely and has a kind heart, with great food and toy drive 🫶

Nox is a half brother to our current litter, they both have Sig as their papa! He has been with us since January, when he flew in from , and has been such a special part of our home, but in just a few short weeks he will go to his forever home in Montana! Thankfully, we will still see him regularly ♥️
Nox is now crate trained, potty trained, has a solid obedience foundation, has attended a group AKC Star Puppy Class, and has been on countless adventures! These lifelong skills will help him be successful in his new adventures 🏔️

Wes goes home this weekend, and I’m super happy with how far he’s come. He’s so lucky to have committed owners who are going to upkeep all the new life skills he’s learned, training doesn’t end when a doggo heads home, it is just the beginning!
Wes has made such awesome progress in 4 weeks! He had some behavioral issues that needed to be addressed so he will be with us for a bit longer. But this little man was a perfect gentleman on his big outing on a busy Saturday! We saw at least a dozen dogs, baby chicks, strollers, carts, screaming kiddos, and TONS of shoppers. He even mastered down stays in this crazy environment and offered me a down stay at the checkout stand! Now just to solidify these new behaviors in multiple new and busy locations before he returns home to the Seattle area!

Sig x Bougie puppies are two weeks old, they are all gaining weight, eyes are opening, and they started giving little kisses 😘 5 girls, 2 boys 🫶 Bougie has the cleanest whelping box I’ve ever seen a mama have, I swear her puppies smell like a dryer sheet 😂 she is protective of them and is the very best mama bear! Bougie is from our friends 🐾

Sig x Bougie puppies are ONE WEEK OLD! ♥️ From emergency c-section to everyone gaining weight as they should(7-10% per day), tails are done, and we are beginning ENS and they will get their first nail trim today! And best of all, littlest man is thriving! His nickname is Mouse 🐭

Sig x Bougie puppy update! Everyone is gaining weight well, everyone is active, mama Bougie finally had her milk come in fully and is settling down after her c-section and rough start. She’s especially loving her calcium rich frozen Toppls! Today we’re for their tails to be docked, wiggle butts coming right up ♥️

I’m a big believer in showing puppies the puppy version of our expectations for them as adults. For example? Mini American Shepherds are active companions, off leash hiking with a great recall and neutral temperament is a must have skill I expect out of my adult minis…so the puppy version is a harness and leash to encourage exploring, with occasional moments of dropping the leash and practice by recalls we’ve worked on at home out on the trail. To keep it successful we keep it short, the entire adventure lasting under 30 minutes with multiple sniffing breaks. Lay the foundation when they’re young so they are a joy when they mature!
Nox did awesome, saw the Sasquatch statute, two large barking dogs, and said hello to a stranger when invited to. He played in the creek, in the snow, and practiced his sit and recall!

Old dogs are the best dogs. My Loony hit double digits today, 10, and we spent the afternoon with an ice cream cone at McDonald’s and a little hike by our house in the snow just her and I. Loony loves the smells in the forest and the creek she can play in. While her body isn’t what it used to be, she is still my bestest girl. Enjoy the moment, sing happy birthday, buy them the special toy. We only get so many special days.

Confident, not cocky, and a wiggle butt pro already. Working on crate training, potty training, house manners, name recognition and recall so far! This little man trains sporty, has off the chart food drive, and medium-high toy drive right now. This guy will blossom here with a dog sport foundation. So far he’s been to the airport, flown on a plane, car rides, Tractor Supply, Home Depot, the coffee shop, the vet, friends homes, and more! Proper socialization is so important for little baby puppies! He is out of Flaunt by our sire Sig! Both parents are fully health tested and exceed CHIC health standards and can be verified on

🎄Merry Christmas y’all 🤶 The human in charge is out sick. So I’m taking things over 🎄Bougie Susie here keeping mama cozy in bed now I that I have completed my turbo speed hot laps in the snow and said hello to my mini donkey and goatie friends! Soooo turns out I’m gonna have a busy spring, I get to have my own puppies, maybe mama got annoyed I kept stealing all her red headed golden puppies, tehehehe! Don’t y’all worry, mama did all the stuff at the vet, I got my hips and elbows xrayed at the vet, got my eye balls checked out by the special eye doc, and mama stuck a bunch of weirdo cotton swabs in my mouth and sent em off to the “lab” whatever that is. Anyways, she said “I’m fully health tested now!” And so is bestest boyfriend Sig, aka buddy boy, aka soggy bottom butt. Stay tuned for updates from meeeeeee! Oh and send mama a message if you wanna a wiggle butt puppy of your own!
PS….we like frisbees. A lot. You best too 😉

This is why I love the freedom and safety an ecollar provides. We can quickly potty the dogs and let them do some zoomies on long road trips!
Training tip: every stop I always immediately practice a few short recalls and reward to set us up for success! Don’t test your dog, set them up for success. The goal is success, not failure.

Evie and Friday taking a nap 😴 And honestly it’s one of my biggest goals for Evie; learn how to relax and enjoy being calm in the house. Creating an off switch. It’s taken a lot of repetitions and trying many different things to set her up for success. I’m so proud of her ♥️ It’s ok if the first three ideas don’t work. Keep trying, you’ll find the right plan for the doggo ♥️
Evie and Wednesday did fantastic on their on leash hike today on Rathdrum Mountain! So rewarding to see Evie start to become the dog of her owners dreams 😎
