Meet RAQUEL, our PET OF THE WEEK! Raquel is a beautiful, all black, small Shepherd mix. She is almost 3 years old , and fully grown at 54lbs. She is spayed, Heartworm negative and up to date on her vaccs. She is a sweetheart that deserves more than we can give her- a loving home and family- big or small it doesn't matter. Love is what counts and she is a giver... of hugs, sloppy kisses and faithful LOVE! . She is a favorite of volunteers to walk! See video with her best friend Lauren who volunteers regularly.
The Dog Days of Summer call for special water time ! Scooter is loving playtime with Karen and the hose! We are praying for cooler temps this Sunday morning but are so grateful for the tarps and swimming pools recently donated! We are all surviving!

We set him up with a laptop and he stayed up late last night writing this personal letter to you!
Hi! I’m a fluffy super chill 110-pound goober. I think I’m an Akita/Shepherd mix. Don’t let my age fool you as you’d never guess I’m 11-12 years old. I’m still super active, absolutely love long walks and going on car rides. But I also love cuddling on the couch watching Lassie re-runs. Watch out though because I’ll be catching you off guard with my HUGE WET SLOPPY kisses. I’m neutered, house-trained, and know lots of basic commands. I absolutely LOVE life and am HAPPY all the time. The staff and volunteers at TBC say I’m the greatest dog ever. (But, please don’t tell the other doggies I said this!)
I’m ready for the next chapter in my life. I remember I like small female dogs, but to be honest, I’m much more of a people person and would rather be your only fur baby. And, since I’m so big, it’s best if I’m in a home with older children!
I’m worth the short drive out to TBC. Please come meet me and see how great I really am. You’ll see words just don’t do me justice.

I am a 6 month old little female dachshund mix. I weigh in at about 25 pounds and I have shiny black hair just like Cher. But unlike Cher, I have silly floppy ears that turn up my cuteness factor! I may seem shy when you first meet me, but have a seat, and within 10 minutes, I’ll be in your lap giving you puppy kisses. The TBC Staff and Volunteers call me names like CUTE, GENTLE AND DARLING. I don’t know what they mean, but it sure sounds like they like me a whole bunch, don’t you think?
I love other pups and I love young people, old people, and in between people too! I’m ready to find my forever home with you
