Willidean gave birth this evening! 3 healthy babies. Looks to be a tri, harlie, and a charlie orange or cream. Still a little worried about this first time mom, but she made a great nest and has them tucked really well in the back of it and keeps them hidden!

Back A Bit’s Bentley shown by Ebony Woods won first in his class at Fort Worth! This guy was out of Mosaic Mountain’s Equinox and Sugar. I’ve never personally been able to show my rabbits at this show, as I always have nursing does, so I’m really happy to see some of mine hitting the table and winning for other show kids!

Hazel gave birth this morning to 5 very big and healthy kits. 3 harlies and 2 solids. Not sure what colors to expect here 🤔 mom is harlequinized self lilac (chin?) aabb(cchd?)_ddEej and dad is b/o tri AaBbC_Ddeje. So guess we will see in a little bit. All seem blue or lilac 🤷🏼‍♀️
Wavalyns litter is getting pretty big, the 2 brokens are chestnuts. The solid guy seems to be an opal but also at the same time seeing lilac chin 😂 or just regular black chin. No clue yet. Excited to see the turn out of these litters!

There’s a first time for everything! I got to experience a live birth, very exciting! This is also my first litter out of two home growns. Ms. Wavalyn gave us 3 babies. 1 solid and 2 brokens, and the solid seems to be a chin! Hoping she takes great care of these 3 sweet babies.

One of my proudest moments as a youth breeder! Back A Bit’s Bugz shown by Kylee Carter won Reserve overall at the Collin County Jr Livestock show! 🤩 It’s so rewarding to see animals you’ve produced go out and do big things, but this tops the cake. Seeing Velveteens which aren’t even a recognized breed yet, out perform over 200+ other rabbits gives me so much hope we will one day pass!
On the other hand, I brought 9 rabbits to the table! And all my homegrowns did AMAZING! Got some great comments and a bunch of ribbons.

Wanted to show off this pretty lady! This is Hazel, my harlequinized (self chin, im 90% positive lol) lilac doe! aabb(C or cchd?)_ddEej. Yesterday I paired her with Equinox, my b/o tri buck that carries choc. Hazel tended to have smaller litters in the past with other breeders, so just hoping she takes with Nox and one of those babies can help me out with my choc tri program!

Back A Bit’s Warren is available for deposits now and then will be available for pickup after Jan 6th! I want to keep him long enough to show at my county show, but after that I have no need for him. He’s right around 7lbs, 16inch ears, and 10months old. Does have a course coat. I would advertise a bit later but im due for 5 litters the week after my county show and need to have space. Hes a possible for chocolate, carrys either chin or rew, and also carrys non-extension. Located in Anna Texas, comes with pedigree.
*will only work with transport if you set it up

Back A Bit’s Walker is looking awesome! Had to show him off! Love everything about him, besides the sunburnt fur 🤦🏼‍♀️ if anyone has tips to help with that, it would be much appreciated!

It’s been pretty slow at the rabbitry, summer hit us pretty hard compared to previous years. We lost one rabbit, it was my brk chocolate doe that carried non-extension. She was my only ticket to choc tris 😞 so if anyone has anything available that could help me out, I would really appreciate it! On a bright note all the youngins have been sold 🙌🏻 and we will be moving in Bleu's Bunches of Buns Hazel sometime soon!
I paired Snow and Equinox in hopes for some Ee/Eej chocolate babies. If she didn’t take I’ll be pairing back to Wag for some chins.
Show season is starting for us early next month so looking forward to it! Then some awesome winter pairings to follow afterwards 😉

This litter is a nice switch up from the vlops! Less then a week old and it’s crazy how many difference there are from baby velveteens. This really is the cutest litter 😍

Rescued a rabbit about a month ago from a really bad situation. She decided to pull some fur this morning so I put a box in hoping she just wanted to be pregnant and that she wasn’t actually 😅 But 5 healthy babies later I’ve chosen to expect the reality that I now have some meat mutts in my care lol. Excited to see the colors. The dad was like a mismarked dutch something. Oh well 🤷🏼‍♀️

Dolly had 10 healthy babies last night! Super excited to see these colors 🧡🤎 I will not be taking deposits as early as I did last time. Deposits will be put down around 2 months and they will go home around 3 months 😊 Update: This number will probably change but I believe there are 7 does and 3 bucks

The babies first time outside of their cage! All 10 including momma are enjoying the wild grass garden 😍
