DFW Pup Patrol is an all volunteer foster family based all breed dog rescue in the Dallas/Ft Worth, TX area. and rehome.

We save dogs from shelters, euthanasia, bad situations, off the streets, etc. DFW Pup Patrol is an all-volunteer nonprofit 501(c)3 tax-exempt status organization. DFW Pup Patrol was founded to assist in ending the unnecessary euthanasia of homeless pets by informing and engaging the public and the media to help bring about change. We firmly believe that when people are made aware of these staggeri

ng numbers, they recognize the reality and become part of the solution!! Through high-profile events and public awareness campaigns, DFW Pup Patrol aims to put a face on this once hidden problem. Similar organizations in large metropolitan areas have been able to reduce their kill rates by HALF in ten years. But for DFW, there is still much work to be done. Our goal is to ensure that every adoptable dog has a loving “furever” home. We ask you to join us on the path of ensuring Dallas, Ft. Worth, and the surrounding areas achieve and maintain no-kill status.

This lady is just as sweet as she is beautiful and she is looking for a new furever home. Meet Dixie Diamond, a Husky/German Shepherd mix pup, who is about 3-1/2 yrs old and weighs approximately 68 lbs. Her foster home does have another dog and a cat she gets along with and she loves every person she meets! This gal is potty trained and loves to cuddle!

Dixie Diamond joined our rescue organization after being hit by a car; her owner was going to shoot her if nobody offered to help. She has now had 3 surgical procedures done to her hip and knee accompanied by concurrent appropriate durations of recovery and therapy. She has been such a good sport about it all!!! Her last radiograph review showed muscle mass continues to improve, so great news!

She does have expected osteoarthritis in her hip that will need to be proactively managed with regular exercise and appropriate supplements so she can continue to run and play like other pups! This girl is now looking for a loving dedicated home, so if you are an active individual or an active family looking for a very special addition, Dixie Diamond may be just the girl you’re looking for!

Riot was left in a box at a construction site when he was barely 4 weeks old. Thankfully a nice family took him in and bottle fed him and took care of him. We believe Riot is a Malinois mixed with something...maybe German Shepherd or Belgian Shepherd? He has the classic black mask and stockings of a Mal. In any case he is a gorgeous dog. Riot was born around the beginning of October 2024 and currently weighs about 45 lbs. He loves all people and has been around kids. He is a little nervous with new dogs when he first meets them, but once he warms up he loves to play. He is crate trained and potty trained. His favorite toy is whatever good stick he finds in the yard. Riot will have to stay local to DFW so he can be neutered when he is old enough.

Oswald is a super cute Akita pup that is going to be a BIG boy when he’s all grown up. He was born around the end of November and at a little under 4 months old is already 35 lbs. Oswald is super smart and is crate trained and potty trained with a doggie door. He loves to eat and knows exactly when it is breakfast time and dinner time. He loves toys and treat puzzles. True to his breed he is very aloof with strangers and will attach to his new family. He loves to get pets from his humans, but is not interested in cuddling. The Akita is a large, strong, independent, and dominant dog and so far Oswald is showing all of those traits. He will need an experienced owner that can continue to socialize and train him so he will grow up to be the best dog he can be. Since he is so young he will need to stay local to DFW so he can be neutered once he is old enough.
