Hi! My name is Jack! Sometimes known as "Jack Jack", "Jacky Jack", and occasionally "Knock it off you little turd". My life didn't start out so great....I was born in a bad place. So bad that one day some people in uniforms came and took me and my family. They said we were safe but that place was loud and scary...lots of barking dogs and strange smells. I went home with a family and lived there for about a year, but unfortunately I was just not a good fit for them. After all of that it's no wonder I am pretty shy with new people. My foster mom has been working with me to boost my confidence and she has taught me that taking walks and riding in the car is not so bad (still skeptical of the car thing though.) She also taught me this thing she calls "sit"....it's where I put my butt on the ground and she gives me a treat. I do love the treats! I pretty much just love food...treats, snacks, chew bones, table scraps ;-). I also love other dogs. I love to play and can get pretty spunky. I love to get the other dogs to chase me. I also love to chew on sticks outside or just take naps in the sun. Once I am comfortable with my person I will give lots of kisses and love to snuggle. I am fine sleeping in my crate at night, but I wouldn't mind sleeping in the bed if I'm allowed. I am completely house trained, don't get into things or chew on things I'm not supposed to, and am crate trained. My DNA results show that I am American Pitbull Terrier mixed with Chihuahua, a little Parson Rusell Terrier, and few other mixes sprinkled in for good measure. I am a small size of just 24 lbs and I was born in January of 2022. I will definitely bond quicker with a woman and I will need to go to a home with another dog(s) to play with. No young children for me please...I like a chill environment.

This girl is officially up for adoption. Tilly has never met a stranger and loves all people and dogs. With bigger dogs she tends to slip over like a June bug, but she is getting more and more confident with them. She knows sit and wait. Walks great on a leash and is housetrained. She is crated when we aren’t home because side she is a busy 6 month old puppy.
Her perfect home will be one that is patient and will to continue to work on her training with her. She doesn’t need another dog in the house, as long as she gets some doggie playtime.
She loves doggie daycare and the dog park.
She loves kids, but isn’t aware of her size. Her and the toddler in my house play well together, but they can both overwhelm each other. She is a super sweet girl, just needs a great home.
About 27lbs currently.

Jack is a shy boy that is the absolute sweetest once he warms up. He was part of an abuse case and was confiscated along with his siblings when he was just a few months old. Jack warms up quicker with women than men, and definitely will need another dog in the home to play with. He LOVES other dogs, big or small. His favorite game is to get the other dogs to chase him. He is crate trained (he loves his crate and it is his safe place but he is fine being left out...he’s not destructive at all) and potty trained. He loves to go for walks. He doesn’t do fetch but will happily chew on his benebone or a bully stick and sometimes plays on his own with a stuffed toy. (He loves food, treats, chew bones...and also butt scratches.) Once he warms up he will give kisses and loves to cuddle on the couch or in bed. He will also happily sleep in his crate if his human prefers no dogs in the bed. Jack was born at the end of January 2022 and currently weighs right under 25 lbs. We think he is Dachshund, some kind of Terrier, and maybe some Chihuahua?? He has a very long, slim body but also longer legs than a Dachshund would have.

ADOPTED!!!

Meet Archie! He is around 8 months old and about 10 pounds. Poor guy was left outside with a wire tied around his neck when his owners decided they didn’t want him anymore. He is learning to enjoy the good life here at DFW Pup Patrol! He is getting all fixed up and will be available for adoption soon! ❤️

Hi my name is Gertrude but you can call me Gerti for short. It's believed that I was born around May of 2022 and am some kind of Terrier mix. I have the Terrier wire type hair and the Terrier face, but my body is very long so maybe I have some Dachshund in me too? I am a small sized girl...about 17 lbs. I am a spunky little girl, full of energy. I get along great with dogs of all sizes. I love to play and try to get the other dogs to chase me. I love food too and will do anything for a treat. Since I am young and have a lot of energy I will need a family that can help me use it in a good way. I will need lots of play time, exercise, and structure. I am crate trained and doing good with my potty training. I love kids too! It might take me a little bit to warm up to new people, but once I do I will be your very best friend. I will do best in a home with another playful pup.

Zee is a young Cane Corso girl who was found wandering alone. We did everything we could to find her family but sadly no one claimed her. We think she's a little under a year old. She currently weighs about 69 lbs but she needs to put on a few more pounds to be at an ideal weight. Zee is gorgeous! We suspect she was kept outside because she knew nothing about obedience or manners in the house. She has been learning that it is not acceptable to jump on counters or potty inside. She learned how to sit for a treat and she walks pretty nice on leash. She will need a family that is patient with her and can continue teaching her how to be a great dog. She is not a big fan of the crate but she has been learning that it's not that bad. She is definitely not able to be left alone free roaming yet as she has some separation anxiety and she's still a puppy so she finds trouble to get into. Zee is very sweet but has shown some nervousness around new people. She is very submissive and doesn't appreciate loud voices. She is great with all dogs big or small and loves to play.
