Hailey spent last week learning all about Integrative Veterinary Medicine with us. Her drive and determination impressed us all. She loves greyhounds and while none of them were on our docket last week, we saw two whippets on her very last day!

WSU College of Veterinary Medicine selects a small number of students from their Honors Pre-Admit Program in Veterinary Medicine. These talented students can can gain early admission to the College of Veterinary Medicine DVM professional program and become a veterinarian in only seven years. Hailey is one of these hardworking students. We can’t wait to watch her shine! 💫🐾

Last week OSU College of Veterinary Medicine student, Madison, spent a few days learning the ins and outs of TCVM and canine rehabilitation with us. We were impressed by her skills, knowledge base, and her positive mindset! 🐾🧡

Veterinary students at OSU have the opportunity to complete the acupuncture certification process while they are still in veterinary school through Chi University. The coursework and material is challenging, but this structure allows the students to get early exposure to TCVM. How many likes can we get to encourage Madison to go for it?!?!

Asphalt can be 25-50 degrees hotter than the air temperature on a sunny day! At those temperatures, it can take less than 60 seconds for a dog’s paw pads to burn.

We know that the parking spots closest to the clinic aren’t always available, and the last thing we want is someone getting hurt on their way in to see us.

If you have to park far away, please pull up to the front of the clinic and bring your dog in first. We would be happy to get them settled for you while you park your car and walk in.

“I have a pool, why does my dog need to go in the underwater treadmill?” While swimming can be good exercise for some dogs, it doesn’t offer the same benefits. In the underwater treadmill, the water offers support by taking pressure off of joints and/or injuries, while allowing for full range of motion.
