Hello there and welcome to Phideaux Cuisine....a concept born out of love. Chuck and Roger have been together for 21 years (give or take LOL) and together they have discovered they both had a love for all animals. Cruise, their first boy, was adopted about 6 months after they bought their home in the country. Not long after that came Molly, Buddy, Laddie, Jessie, Billy, Mel, Buster, Clyde, Princes
s, Nikki, Dazee, Little Bit, Gigi, Bella, Wolverine, Scout, Merlin, Morgana and Guinevere - what Roger's mother lovingly referred to as the zoo, their own mixture of dogs, cats and holy cow - even a goat. Both Chuck and Roger worked in the Veterinarian industry for a short time. Then Chuck became part of the management team at a nationwide chain - eventually working his way up to manager of a pet's hotel. That is where the homemade treat idea first started. Chuck wanted to give his hotel guests a special treat during the holiday times from November thru December, something that would get a purrrrrrrfect reaction from the guests....they decided on making, bagging, and dispersing the homemade treats - later to become Cruise's Choice. They did this for 7 or so years before Chuck left the pet's hotel industry. But there was just something missing, they felt there was something more they could do for fur babies and their families. Then, a few years later, they decided to take the giant leap and get into the treat making business - their hearts just felt that good healthy treats were needed. Roger kept his job, albeit no longer in the Veterinarian realm, to guarantee at least a modest income for the family (keeping food in the bowls and litter in the boxes) and Chuck dove in to the treat business -just like a Lab in water.
