How I Got Started
Being a grandson of Punk Carter who is an icon in the cutting horse industry, I have grown up around some of the most talented, and athletic horses. Punk is a national cowboy hall of fame inductee, and I have spent many years by his side learning everything there is to know about horses.
As a kid, I entered and won multiple cutting competitions, and then began my career in rodeo. As a part of the WYRA I was champion in the Tie down, ribbon roping, and breakaway. I was also apart of the Texas High School Rodeo Association for two years, and went to state in calf roping both years. Being sponsored by Willard ropes, I traveled to a few UPRA rodeos, and plan to pick that back up again.
After high school, I continued my career in training horses. There have been many success stories with horses that I have trained, one of them being a 2017 Cheyenne tie-down roping champion.
