New home found for Willow!
COURTESY POSTING FOR A CLIENT
This beautiful Maine C**n girl, Willow Thunderpaws,is looking for a new home. Willow is a big, gentle and quiet girl who was born on 1/21/20. I’ve groomed her several times and she was gentle and sweet each time.
She was purchased from a Breeder out of Texas; sire and dam are Champions from Germany.
She had a great long time with other cats, so she has good cat skills. She was taken home on 5/17/2020.
Healthy with vaccines current until 5/2024.
Will not be fully matured until she’s five. There is still some kitten in her, but she’s a big kitty and an indoor only girl.
Owner is Asking a rehoming fee, as she is a registered Maine C**n with a healthy bloodline. No heart problems or any other known health issues.
Warms to strangers pretty quickly.
Did well with kids and other pets at the breeder, but hasn’t been around them since She was a kitten so introducing slowly will be important. Hides her toys under the sofa or bed. Dances a little to tell you she wants to play, which is so cute. Is a climber so you may find her atop your bookshelf chilling. Watches shadows on the wall, and is a true hunter. When she trusts you, she likes to play chase with you.
With pick up, will give away her 3 level cat crate, litter box and bedding so she feels secure, if new owner has room for it. She sleeps in the crate at night.
She eats dry food at will; wet food morning and evening. Loves treats but is picky about which ones. She did not do well using Revolution on her and as an indoor only kitty, the vet said it’s best not to use it again. Since taking her off Revolution there have been no flea issues at all.
Loves water so may sit on the edge of the tub, or want to watch you washing dishes. She likes to lay in the tub or sink and chill. She’s an athletic cat and loves to play with “The Bird” wand and chasing the bird. She will let you hold her for a few minutes, and then she’s getting down. Loves looking out the window at birds and other animals passing by. She’s vocal only when she has something to tell you; such as: it’s dinner time, I caught a bug, or I’m about to do something I know I’m not supposed to do so watch this. She’s a funny girl. She needs to have some play time and attention. She’s not a lap kitty, but will often sit beside you, or at your feet. She may reach her paw and touch your foot or leg, but that’s not an invitation to pick her up. She just is telling you she’s there and likes you. She might, as she matures, become a lap kitty, but not fully there yet. She’s perfect with her litter box and likes the Tidy Cat Clumping Litter. You have to watch her around plastic bags as she likes the sound they make and will tear them. She likes watching you put groceries away. She likes to be a helper. She essentially wants to be where you are, like a little shadow. She obeys a few verbal commands. She has a recessive and uncommon gene that gives her the black smoke coat. She will require professional grooming about four times a year to keep her fine thick coat looking beautiful.
