Slowing down for a minute to enjoy some time with the most valuable and integral piece of the farm, my livestock guardian dog, Foxy.

Foxy is a fierce protector, but a truly gentle soul. She’s quiet, cautious and kind. I couldn’t do this without her. She allows me to have chickens free ranging 24/7 and baby goats born in the pasture without any stress. I literally don’t even have a door on my coop, which sometimes I regret 🤣

At the start of the season, we weren't entirely sure how sound Juliet would ever be, despite her amazing recovery progress up until that point. We celebrated the first time we saw her canter on the right lead in the field, and then again under saddle. Look at her now! Needless to say...her future looks bright!
