Our first Christmas luncheon was a hit! The dogs who signed up enjoyed roast chicken, mashed plain sweet potatoes, punpkin purée and more. 🍗 🫛🥕🥔🍽️🐾

Just a reminder that Wags is closed today, December 25th, for daycamp and for boarding drop-offs or pickups. Our staff will be caring for the pups but our lobby is closed and there is no in-and-out.

A congratulations is in order for these outstanding students!!! Jack, Eevee, and Kirby have all masted and completed our final Good Manners “Play and learn” level 3 course! Great work done by all. They can’t wait to show their owners all that they have learned! 👨🏻‍🎓🐾👨🏼‍🎓📚👩🏼‍🎓

Daisy got to have a snowy surprise for her 2nd birthday! The cold didn’t stop her from running around and playing with all of her buddies! She brought in a basket full of a variety of doggy nutrition bars as snacks for her friends. Happy 2nd birthday Daisy! 🥳🎂2️⃣🎈

Zoe had a private birthday party today to celebrate her turning 1! She got to party with her sister Molly as well as their pals Venus, Rex, and Millie! As you can see they had a blast! 🎉1️⃣

This crew loved playing with the birthday toys. Everyone worked up such an appetite that they all ate the purple dog friendly birthday cake. 🎂💜

Zoe was very much enjoying being the center of attention and getting all of the pets from our staff. Happy 1st birthday Zoe! It’s been wonderful watching you grow! 🥳🐾

Boarding with us over the holidays?

Add some Play and Learn sessions to enhance your dog's stay!

When you sign up for a Play and Learn package, our CPDT-certified dog trainer will take your dog out of playgroup for 40 minutes per day of one-on-one fun training. We can work on basic obedience behaviors, practice loose-leash walking, polite greetings and more. Play and Learn is available to any dog here for a daycamp or boarding visit.

Our first week of holiday photo sessions has concluded and it's time to unveil the themes we are using in 2024! We have a peppermint birch set for the pups who celebrate Christmas and a blue winter set for those pups who celebrate Hanukkah. As in previous years, a portion of the proceeds will benefit DAWS: Danbury Animal Welfare Society.

To sign up for photos please let our Front Desk know at drop-off, or email in advance. Details in comments below. We will be doing photos on weekdays through Jan 2 (but not on Christmas day itself).

Our professional groomers still have availability for appointments before Christmas! We can do full-service baths, desheddings, trims and full haircuts.

It’s typically difficult to find grooming appointments this time of year but since our grooming salon opened just a few months ago and we are still growing, we still have some spots. 😊

It got cold and rainy this afternoon so our staff decided it was time to get in the holiday spirit and read all the pups the story of Grinchmas. 😀 It was such a hit that we followed up with the movie version. 🌲 🎅 🐶

Dear clients, like most of Danbury we just received the notification that we are on a boil-water advisory due to a water main break in town.

We have come up with a plan and will only be using bottled or boiled water for the dogs' drinking water, and for washing dishes, until the advisory is lifted -- hopefully Tuesday!
