Congratulations to our very own Kyler Schmalz for her State Fair placings including 1st 🥇 in Senior Ranch Rail! Her plate has been full over the last couple years between school, lessons, and our 4H kiddos, but she has worked countless hours during early mornings and late nights on herself and Sebastian. Her goal of winning Versatily at Hendricks 4H and winning at State is officially ✔️ and ✔️.

The Senior classes of Hendricks County Fair are officially over and we want to congratulate both of our girls!

Brynna and Bucky won first place in Ranch Pleasure 🥇and had top places in all other Western classes.

Kyler and Sebastian won multiple English and Western classes, including Grand Champion in English Equitation and English Showmanship, and Reserve Champion in Western Horsemanship. Her biggest accomplishment was ending her 4H show career by winning the Versatility Championship🏆 🏆 🏆

Congrats to both and we look forward to cheering on our Junior riders on Thursday and Friday!

Long Range Stables is happy to announce that we will be hosting summer camps again this year!

Due to our 4H program and show schedule we will only have 2 camps with 8 spots in each camp so RSVP your kiddos ASAP.

We have a couple lesson spots open!!! If you’ve been trying to get yourself or your kiddos in, now is the time to contact us. All lessons are private, and we have an indoor and outdoor arena so we run our program all year. $50/hour. Lesson kiddos all have 1st rights to our summer camps! Long Range Stables is so proud of our young ladies’ 4H show and results. Kyler Schmalz has worked countless hours with our horses and getting the girls ready for fair week and it certainly paid off.

Kyler and Sebastian also worked hard all year getting ready and they finished better than ever!

1 Reserve Championship in Versatility (Tie Breaker was Barrels)

Ellie and Skipper showed their 2nd year in 4H and what a difference from last year! Ellie had the most beautiful final ride of the week on Skipper and we are super proud of her!

Brynna and Bucky showed their 1st year in 4H. They have come so far in a year and we couldn’t be more proud of Brynna for all of the progress she has made on a tough horse to ride. We can’t wait to see what this next year brings with them!

Mal and Bob showed their 1st year in 4H. Bob is a seasoned show horse and definitely makes his rider ride correctly, and Mal has put in a ton of hours learning and improving her skills and it certainly showed this week!

Addison and Brodie showed their 1st year in 4H. Just a few months before 4H Addison decided she wanted to show and she put her mind into taking in all the instructions to do her best!

Thanks to Kyler Schmalz for all of your hard work getting our kiddos ready for 4H. You represent what a 4H leader and mentor is all about. Leadership, Character, and Friendship to our young ladies and they all look up to you!

All the kiddos had a great week. They had many highs, and some lows to learn from, but the pact they have for each other is unbelievable. I couldn’t be more proud as a barn owner of Kyler, the parents, and their children.
