Good evening K9-Nirvana family! I know it's been a minute since I've posted anything. Unfortunately, this evening, it's a topic I really don't want to have to keep going over. The following is the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy for my services. I send this via text to everyone. You have either received it with your yearly schedule or you've received it if you are a new client of mine upon making your first appointment. This policy is in place as some insurance for my business. I can't be having clients wait until the night before or day of their scheduled appointment, and cancel "because I forgot" or "we went ahead and had someone else groom him" or "I made a nail appointment for around the same time". I understand that emergencies, sickness, and life happens, and those who have needed to talk to me on this subject all know I'm quite easy to work with. But I ask that if you need to reschedule or cancel your grooming appointment, to give me a head's up. I would really hate to have to implement a pre-pay policy. I appreciate how good you all have been to me, and I'm sorry I have to touch on this subject again, but this is what I do for a living. This is what helps pay the bills, and feed two growing boys. Please show me the courtesy of letting me know, in advance, if you don't need my services, so that I might be able to fill your spot. Please see the Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy below:

** Please note the following policy for cancellations and rescheduling:

* There will be NO FEE charged for cancellations giving 48 hours or more notice.

* Cancellations or reschedules that give less than 48 hours notice will result in a charge of 50% of the total reserved service amount.

* Cancellations on the DAY OF scheduled appointments will result in a charge of 100% of the total reserved service amount.

** Please understand that when you forget or cancel an appointment without giving enough notice, I miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time with clients who are waiting for my services. I appreciate your understanding!

Hey, K9-Nirvana fam! As all of you have heard, the weather is supposed to turn extremely nasty overnight, tonight going into tomorrow and possibly Tuesday. I just wanted to reach out on here to let you ALL know that I am staying up to date on the weather patterns, but as a head's up for anyone who may have appointments the next few days, I wanted to let you know that if the roads are too bad, or if there is a possibility that the conditions may worsen, I will not be traveling. Of course, I will do my absolute best to stay on schedule, but if we have to move appointments around, I will make that happen as soon as I possibly can. Thank you for all the love and support since I have taken over K9-Nirvana! Each and every one of you is so appreciated! Please remember in these freezing conditions to not leave your furry family members outside for very long, and everyone please be safe! Much love!

Happy New Year's Eve K9-Nirvana family! I just wanted to take a moment to reach out on this platform. I understand there has been some concern regarding the cancellation policy that is going out with yearly schedules. I want to reassure you all that I understand things can happen! People get sick, have medical emergencies, financial woes, etc. My cancellation policy is in effect because as a mobile groomer, if someone decides not to let me know they cannot keep their appointment "just because" I run the risk of not only services lost, but time (and travel) lost as well. I am very understanding, and will absolutely work with you to the best of my ability if the need arises to change your scheduled appointment. I just need honesty and a heads up when possible! Unfortunately, there are people who use "oh! I forgot!" more often than is acceptable. This isn't something I'm doing just because I love grooming (and I do LOVE grooming!) but I'm also doing this as a means for my family. Please just afford me the opportunity to fill your spot if you are unable to keep a certain appointment. I appreciate all of you so very much already, and we are just getting started! I pray you all have a fun celebration of the new year tonight! See you all next year!

Hello to all of our wonderful clients and their humans! My name is Kodi, and as of the first part of January 2024, I will be taking over grooming for Kayla at K9-Nirvana! I am so excited for this new adventure, and honored that Kayla has chosen me to take the reins! My prayer is to take this business and make Kayla and all of you proud! I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself! I think I've met most of you by now, but for those I have not met.

My name is Kodi! 😊 I am a wife of 18 years, mother to 2 boys in my arms and 5 angels in my heart, fur mama and lover of all animals! My family is owned by 6 dogs, 5 cats, 4 mini pigs, 9 chickens, 2 snakes, 3 lizards, 2 rats and a frog named Sir Pacs-a-Lot! I received my grooming certification through PetSmart in 2013, and have been grooming off and on ever since. I absolutely love grooming. I love forming a relationship with my groom dogs and their families. In a sense, after grooming a baby for so long, they become an extended part of your family. 🖤 I have thought about doing mobile grooming for years now, and just never took the plunge. I started working for Kayla in August of 2023, as her bather, and absolutely fell in love (as I knew I would) with traveling to pet parent's homes and offering the convenience and comfort of in home grooming. I love the creativity that you can dive into with grooming, but I think my FAVORITE part is helping dogs feel better!

My very first goal, after taking over K9-Nirvana, will be to make sure any established clients are comfortable with my routine and taken care of. To start, I will be by myself, so I want to make sure anyone who has been taken care of by Kayla, knows that I will do my very best to take care of you as well! Once I get a good working routine of my own, I will start accepting new clients onto the schedule.

I look forward to working with all of you, and I appreciate the warm welcome you have all given to me, as Kayla's bather these last 4 months. I cannot wait to continue this as your groomer! HELLO my amazing clients!! I haven't had a chance to message EVERYONE individually and I'm so sorry. However, with the new year there will be BIG changes. I want to start off by saying that I am so thankful for EACH AND EVERYONE of you that have helped me stay in business and have referred me to all of your friends. You guys have been so good to me for so long, but I need a more steady income. With all of the cancelations I have had the last few weeks, I have to do what is best for my family. I have taken a job with K9 Country Club. I will post the address if I need to. Kodi, who has been with me since August and most of you know her now, will be more than happy to continue grooming for those of you who need or want someone to come to you. I again, want to say thank you for always making me feel welcome and more like family to you. You ALL will ALWAYS hold a special place in my heart and your fur babies will ALWAYS be remembered. ❤️❤️❤️

HELLO AWESOME CLIENTS OF MINE!!!

I am so so sorry that I have to make this announcement, but... Nora will be starting kindergarten this year and as most of you know I do NOT have anyone that can pick her up from school or babysit for me. With this being said, I can NOT work passed 130. So, all of my appointments will have to be between 830-9am and 12pm. I know that this will be a super inconvenience to some of you and I am so sorry. During the summer I can work later, but for now this is how it has to be. I hope all of you can understand and will work with me because I LOVE working with you and your fur babies.

PLEASE READ!!!!

Hello my amazing clients. I am making this post because some of you seem to think that you can't tell me when something is wrong. So, I want to clear it up.

If you have a problem with ANYTHING I've done or my bather has done, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I am begging you to let me know ASAP. I will NOT ever judge you or tell anyone about what we discuss. I am very easy going and want to take care of YOU AND YOUR FUR BABY. That is all that matters to me. You guys are literally my lifeline. I depend on you as much (actually more because you are my paycheck) as you depend on me, so if there is EVER a problem, please do NOT hesitate to call or text me. I will do EVERYTHING I can to make it right and I can promise it will NEVER happen again.

I am so sorry for anyone that felt uncomfortable or was upset with me for something someone else did. I can't fix it if I'm unaware that there is a problem.

I appreciate ALL OF YOU more than you know!!
