Obility Class this Friday, June 28th at 6pm
The Obility class is a combination of obedience and agility. As you know, dogs need both physical and mental exercise. As the dogs go through the course, they have to concentrate on the different obstacles like walking a plank, weave poles, jumps, the tunnel, and more. In between the obstacles, we have rings, and the dogs have to do some obedience in the ring like a sit or down. Overall, it’s great mental and physical exercise and it’s amazing to see how much of a confidence builder it is for the dogs.

These great dogs went to Cisco Brewers on Tuesday to practice for their CGCA. They are doing such an awesome job mastering their advanced skills in new, distracting environments! 🐾 Our next field trip will be taking us to Buttonwood Park!

It's time to kick it up a notch! For those who have taken our AKC Canine Good Citizen class, we are now offering the AKC Canine Good Citizen Community Canine Class (CGCA) that starts on Tuesday, May 28th at 6:30pm.

We are going to take this class on the road to work on the dogs' skills in real life situations. You can learn more about the CGCA by clicking the link below. If you have questions about the course, please email us at [email protected]

As with CGC, AKC Community Canine has a 10-step test of skills that dogs must pass to earn the official AKC Community Canine title. This is a title that appears on the dog’s title record at AKC.

For those of you who have passed your CGC test, it's time to go beyond the Canine Good Citizen award to grow your knowledge and strengthen your bond with your dog. The Community Canine (CGCA)and Urban CGC (CGCU) certifications are other ways to do this.

If you are interested, drop us an email at [email protected]. If your dog has not yet taken our Canine Good Citizen class, drop us an email and we will put you on our list for when the next class comes up.

Your journey doesn’t have to end once you and your dog earn your Canine Good Citizen award. There are tons of other opportunities to continue to grow your knowledge and skills, strengthen the bond with your dog, and enjoy rewarding, enriching and fun activities together.

Congratulations to our Canine Good Citizen prep class dogs and owners! They worked hard the last five weeks getting ready for the CGC test. Most of them will take the test this Saturday. I'd say, wish them luck, but I don't think they need it!

𝙈𝙚𝙚𝙩 𝙎𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙨𝙤𝙣

Sampson is a three year-old male available to a home. He is from our Gunner X Maizy litter born September 15, 2020.

Due to no fault of his own, his owner had some life changes and of course, we will always take our pups back no matter the age or circumstances.

He has been professionally trained, e-collar trained, house trained and crate trained, very well socialized, has good food and ball drive. Would excel in a working/sport home that wants to excel in further training. Good with other female dogs. He is intact.
