Ok, I couldn’t resist posting this video of Keke 😂🤣😂
My phone died but I did manage to capture the puppies first experience playing in the paddling pools. And they LOVED IT!
Just a sweet little video of puppies playing. 🐾
Puppy Culture - puppies stepping up and down low level surfaces and over objects. Gives them a sense of accomplishment. We have been giving them treats and they are using soft mouth and taking them nicely. We are shaping emotional responses, luckily these puppies are food motivated. We start introducing the clicker with treats this week as well.
Just the sweetest little munchkins, pure love ❤️
We are in puppy heaven 🐾❤️🐾
A peaceful Monday morning, dogs have trained, played and now all quietly sleeping!
This is literally made me cry today. Ulric instigating play with Heike. He never showed any signs that he could play when he first came to us 3 months ago. He has been watching the dogs now for several weeks and this past weekend started to play for the first time.
From a very timid, scared dog that was so shy and nervous around anyone and anything is now a rambunctious, fun loving goofball who is loving life maybe for the first time ❤️
We have had Ulric for 2 weeks now and such a difference in him already. He is getting more confident with people, gaining weight well, exploring now rather than looking for ways to escape and his demeanor is much calmer too. He is beginning to understand boundaries, we are being gentle with him but making sure we follow through with what we are asking of him. He is definitely thriving on structure.
Day 4 of having Ulric from the shelter. This boy went from not allowing us to touch him and being super scared of even being close to us, to him learning place and walking pretty well with a slip leash. He is still a little nervous but WOW, he is beginning to focus more on us and his confidence is slowly growing. He is more confident in us touching him which really warms our hearts. This is only the beginning and we are so proud of him 💙
Having Ulric eat from our hands. Each of us are taking turns in feeding him this way. We are working on him building trust with us, socializing him and boosting his confidence. He has come a long way already, allowing us closer to him and even touching him without him backing off or flinching. Not bad for day 2 💙
We have Quorra’s litter from January 2022 about to turn 1 years old and I am getting ready for some treats on Sunday during their Rally Class ❤️
Our dogs enjoying the beautiful fall afternoon with Kai visiting while his parents still recovering from sickness🍁🍂
When all is quiet in the house after playing hard outside 🤫
Having the dogs with a calm state of mind in public settings is so beneficial to their well being. They are not stressed even with distractions that come with being out in the environment. No anxiety, no fear of separation and no stress. That is loving your dog.
Working Bentley on his drills this afternoon. He needs lots of praise and motivation to keep him engaged, he is a very relaxed soft dog. So Nicole has to have more energy in her training.
Each dog we train we look at their personality, what motivates them and take it from there. Like kids, every dog is different and we adapt our training to help each dog and owner become successful.
Anja doing what she does best, loving and mothering the pack. Here she is with Rolfe, obviously he was a dirty boy today ❤️🤣😂
During our pack walks we use dog etiquette, meaning seeing other dogs walking towards us we move over to the side and have our dogs in a calm sit or down and allow the other dogs to pass by. You will see in this video how nice and calm our pack are which helps the passing dogs not to get overwhelmed. It is quite intimidating to some seeing a whole pack of GSD’s coming towards them.
