I still help friends with their horses, riding and miss teaching kids to ride a lot. Don't have a good training horse anymore but have a lot of memories of them especially a 2 year old that would laugh her head off when Santana trotted...miss everyone. God Bless

Have been working a crippled rodeo quarter horse gelding that I bought a few months ago that I'll never be able to ride. He appears to be okay since I fixed his injured hooves in front (a farrier where he came to put nails in the white line of his hoof and caused all kinds of problems for the poor guy); but, after about 15 mins. of working him he starts to limp really bad from his rear. His front legs have been injured from the rodeo but even though he walks stiff-legged I thought I would be able to at least walk him but it's not to be. So, I have two crippled horses now that have a forever home, and hope someone out there has a retired Dressage horse out there that they would like to have a loving home with me. I don't care about competing I just want to ride English...ANYONE?

I do believe I have a horse that can help anyone who needs help in becoming more confident in the riding. Lessons are only $40 for an hour if anyone is interested... will start in April if the weather permits...

Jolene and I had an awesome morning. She was on the lazy side but she did everything I asked and we had a short day today because of it. Of course, she immediately when running in the arena when I let her out of the round pen. definitely going to train her to cart.

I have bought a Freisen/Quarter horse filly. She's beautiful with a really good disposition. We had a little difficulty in understanding what back meant but we finally understood. She knocked me down and we are definitely going to work on staying out of my space. She's pretty strong even though she's little right now. Maybe 650-700 lbs. She's strong too. The woman I bought her from rescued her from the kill pen and I'm so glad she did even though she didn't need another horse. I hope I can train her to my 100 + year old breeching cart in a couple of years or 3 years. It might take her until she's 4 until she has enough muscle to pull the cart. I fell in love with her with just her picture and when I meet her...loved her a LOT. Will keep everyone posted with her update. God Bless

As soon as I get Rico home from the LBL equine rescue, I'll post a picture of who I'm re-training from a ranch injury. Won't ever be able to ride him hard but at my age don't want to. God Bless

Helping out at the LBL Equine Rescue. Would appreciate any donations, volunteer, sponsor and/or adoption. There are some really mellow horses to choose from. Located in Silver Springs, NV

My business is getting slow but I'm getting good revives and even tipped for doing a good job and being on time. Wish I could still give riding and beginning horse lessons but I just didn't feel good about having that stroke a few years ago and doing that anymore.

But, I'm repairing saddles, tack, costume designs (Indian clothes, vintage clothing, moccasins, bead work) alterations...I'm home in the morning but out with my mare training her and not in the shop until noon but anyone call me after that.

Just a note to let everyone know I'm restoring, cleaning and repairing saddles and tack. There's a picture of the saddle (Dave is still working on stirrups) that is over 50 years old on my page (Janice Johnson, Dayton, NV). We had to replace fenders and repair a lot of leather on this saddle. If you live far away you can ship to me and should have it back within a week. Call me, Janice Johnson 775-430-4582 and I will talk to you about pricing etc.

Not training anymore since my stroke 3 years ago but have started a saddle and tack repair shop...also any alterations, custom costume designs, boot and shoe leather repair. Most of our repair work is done by hand if necessary and there's not much we can't repair...You can see some of our work on my page, Janice Johnson, Dayton, NV

I don't train anymore but have managed to re-train and find homes for injured, abused and starved horses in the past and trained over 20 kids to ride plus 4 adults. Hope everyone who has checked my site realizes that sometimes we just get a little old to continue especially after a small stroke. Hope everyone has a wonderful day...

I have people checking out my old site and wanted to let everyone know that I'm able to train anymore. I would still help someone with advise but I had a stroke over a year ago and wouldn't want someone to have to experience that. I also gave my good training horse to someone because I couldn't afford to feed two horses anymore as the price of hay is over $20 now. I'm so sorry I managed to get old...
