Volunteers and Donations Desperately Needed:
Jennifer's Rescues has no funding whatsoever and has been completely self maintained since 2007. Without volunteers and donations, I am unable to rescue and adopt out anymore animals and have often had to forego scheduling important medical procedures and regular vaccinations for my rescue animals due to budgeting constraints. In addition, the countless

phone calls I receive every day concerning the extreme need for help in the Decatur/DeKalb area have been left unreturned, as I have no room to take in anymore animals until further assistance is obtained. Even though multiple people saw a little puppy get hit by a car on a road in Atlanta, Georgia, only one person stopped. A musician named Kelechief.

Kelechief immediately pulled over and dodged traffic to reach the pup, who was critically injured. He then ensured the puppy received medical care.

Get ready, because this story has THE BEST ending. While Dolph was recovering, Kelechief adopted him. ❤️ -amy

Lucky me...I have a family of Eastern Phoebes living right outside my window. Strange where they chose to nest, although with so much development in and around Decatur lately, all sorts of creatures get displaced and disrupted. There has been a gradual and huge decline in eastern songbirds since the late 60s. No question as to why. If we love our feathered friends, we must do our part to look out for them. ❤
