June 5 will be an end to one era as another will be opening up, as he plans on opening a referral Dental Specialty Clinic.
This will be Dr Baker’s last day at Northgate Pet Clinic, his life time dream and his legacy.
Dr. Baker has spent the last 50+ years helping animals as well as their human companions, he has spent countless hours on call, offering assistance to rescues, and an abundance of time with community affairs.
His staff has never been less than exceptional, hard working and loyal as well as very skilled.
He has a tremendous heart and everyone who has ever worked with or met him will always have the nicest things to say.
From the smallest of pocket pets, farm animals, birds to cats and dogs we cannot say anyone will miss him more than his staff!
So to our Boss, Mentor and leader…
May you be proud of the work you have done, the person you are and the difference you have made!

With summer festivities kicking off, we want to remind you about the symptoms of heatstroke and prevention tips:

-Never leave your pet unattended in a car
-When hot/humid, keep your pet’s time outdoors limited ​
-Keep your pet hydrated​
-Ensure your pet has ventilation and a cool environment​
-Dogs with short noses are at higher risk due to their condensed facial anatomy and restricted ability to cool themselves​
-If any signs of heat stroke appear, contact our team immediately. ​
