Meet Huckleberry Pie!
This freckle-faced Pitbull Terrier mix is as sweet as his name and full of love to share. Just 1 year old, Huckleberry strutted into the shelter on 4/5 and instantly stole the show. Those dreamy eyes, those perfect little spots, and that gentle soul? He’s the full package, total heartthrob status unlocked. 😍

He’s currently on “easy mode” as he recovers from surgery, but don’t let that fool you, he’s full of love, gentle energy, and polite tail wags. Huck knows how to sit like a gentleman and gives off big “love bug” vibes 🐾💙

🌟 Foster Highlight: Sneakerdoodle! 🌟

Sneakerdoodle was a total rockstar at PetSmart! 🐾 He greeted everyone, from toddlers to seniors., with a wagging tail and a big heart. He sniffed every corner and absolutely adores his new dog bed. 🛏️💚

This sweet boy is currently in foster care with Happy Acres Pet Rescue and is still looking for his forever home. 🏡 If you're interested in meeting Sneakerdoodle, please call the shelter to arrange a meet and greet. He can’t wait to charm you in person!

Today was paws-itively perfect! Even though the grass was a little wet, the rain held off and the pups got to have the best time ever during their Easter Egg Hunt! They sniffed out eggs, chased some frisbees, chomped on Kongs, and then cozied up with fresh blankets in their kennels.

Huge thanks to the amazing volunteers who made this tail-wagging day happen. ❤️

Happy Animal Control Officer Week! We dropped off some Papa Murphy's Pizza and cookie dough yesterday to thank our amazing Macon County Wardens for everything they do to protect animals and our community. Just a small token of appreciation for their big hearts!

Meet Frosted Mini Wheats! This handsome 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier has a shiny black coat and a heart full of love.

Frosted had a blast soaking up the sun this week! Once outside, he walked nicely on leash and showed off his great manners. He sat when asked and came when called. This sweet boy is ready to bring joy to his forever home!
