Sweet Manda Panda (AKA Ducky at her foster home) is hanging out with shelter staff today in hopes of finding her forever home. Meet Opossum — the sweetest little cuddle buddy you didn’t know you needed! ❤️

This 2-year-old cutie came to us on October 7th a bit shy, but it didn’t take long for him to realize he was safe and surrounded by people who adore him. Now he lights up for every bit of human attention he can get!

Opossum is a perfect medium-sized pup who dreams of curling up on the couch with his forever family. With the holidays just around the corner, he’s hoping his wish for a warm home and loving humans comes true.

If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion to share the season with, Opossum would love to meet you! 🎄🐾

🎶🐾 Meet Tyler — our dancing queen of the shelter! 💃

This gorgeous 3-year-old mixed breed came to us as a stray on 9/15 and has been keeping spirits high ever since. With her adorable tiny ears and a tie-dye tongue that’s as unique as her personality, Tyler is truly one of a kind!

She’s a fun-loving, energetic girl who enjoys playing with other dogs, going for long walks, and showing off her best dance moves with her favorite shelter staff. 💕

Honoring Veterans Day — with a little feline twist!

Today we pause to thank and honor all who have served. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication mean the world to us. ❤️

And in the spirit of Veterans Day, we wanted to shine a spotlight on three of our cats who share names with some famous veterans!

🐾 Ice-T – Cool, confident, and always in charge of the room.
🐾 Chuck Norris – Tough on toy mice but melts for chin scratches.
🐾 Bea Arthur – A golden girl through and through, full of sass and heart.

These three heroes-in-fur are ready to march right into your heart (and your home!). 🐱💙

November is National Adopt a Senior pet Month so of course we had to share our favorite senior pet that has been at the shelter longer than any other dog or cat, Parker. Parker is lucky to have a spot at Happy Acres Pet Rescue to give him a little break from shelter life. Visit their site to see some great pictures and videos of this sweet guy.

Meet Hot Potato! 🐶💛

Don’t let his name fool you — this big guy is one cool potato! 🥔
Hot Potato is a 1½-year-old Mastiff mix weighing about 65 lbs (and could use a few extra snacks to fill out those big squishy cheeks!).

Please don’t judge him by his kennel behavior — once he’s out, he’s an absolute sweetheart! He’s well-behaved, walks nicely on a leash, knows commands, and loves to have fun. A true gentle giant who’s both smart and loving.

Hot Potato would do best with someone who has large dog experience and plenty of love to give. 💕

Who saw these sweet adoptable pets on yesterday?

Aqua and Ravioli had a great time on their field trip to the news studio yesterday. They met many new friends and were both on their best behavior. Aqua even got to help with the weather forecast and she loved the extra on air time and attention!

Aqua is a 9-week-old female medium hair kitten that had a rough start to her sweet little life! She is a feisty little thing that may be a little nervous at first but loves to be held and loved by anyone that will pick her up.

Ravioli is a 1-year-old terrier mix that came in as a stray on October 9th. She is the sweetest girl that walks well on a leash and seems to be great with other dogs and cats.
