In an exciting turn of events, our favorite Boxer mix, Sneakerdoodle, has made a surprise appearance and is ready to meet his forever family!

This sweet pup has been waiting patiently for adoption for 7 months, spending the last 3 months in a loving foster home mastering the art of being the perfect family dog. He’s playful, social with other dogs, and full of love to give—though he kindly requests a cat-free household.

🐾 Meet Abominable Snowman – Your Next Best Friend! ❄️

This sweet, playful boy has been at the shelter since April 19th, and he’s more than ready to trade in kennel life for couch cuddles and backyard ball games. 💙

Abominable Snowman is an estimated 3-year-old pit bull with a heart as big as his name. He came to us as a stray, and his scars suggest he hasn’t had the easiest start in life—but you'd never know it from his gentle nature and joyful spirit. He walks great on a leash, absolutely loves playing ball, and enjoys running the fence line during outside time with other dogs. He’s playful, loving, and just wants a family who will look past his rough edges and see the amazing companion he truly is.

If you're ready to give this resilient, fun-loving guy the second chance he deserves, Abominable Snowman would love to meet you!

Here at MCAC, we officially have so many kittens that we’ve started putting them in the lobby… and honestly? The staff is loving it!

These 9-week-old fluffballs are the purr-fect combination of chaos and cuddles. They play like it’s the Kitty Olympics and then crash like tiny furry comets into nap mode. 💤

Estimated to be around 2 years old, this dapper gentleman is a Greyhound/Pit Bull mix with a heart of gold and legs built for adventure!
Mr. Monopoly is playful, smart, and loves a good walk — in fact, he’s a total pro on a leash. He already knows how to sit on command and is eager to learn more (especially if treats are involved 🍖).
He came to us as a stray with another dog, and he’s shown he can be a great companion to his fellow canines. With his friendly nature and big smile, he’d love a home that will let him stretch those long legs, play to his heart’s content, and then crash on the couch for snuggles.
If you're looking for a dog who’s equal parts fun, loyal, and classy — Mr. Monopoly is ready to pass GO and head straight to your heart. 💙

This 1-year-old neutered male is the life of the cat colony! Social, confident, and curious, Leroy is always the first to greet visitors at the door — and the first to try and hitch a ride in any cat carrier he sees (even if it’s not his turn). 😄
Leroy loves making new feline friends and seems to get along great with other cats. Whether he’s soaking up attention or sneakily claiming an empty carrier as his new fort, he brings a little spark of joy to everyone around him.

🐾 Over the weekend, Parker enjoyed some one-on-one time with our incredible volunteer Debbie! ☀️ Even in the summer heat, this sweet boy was all smiles, and full of kisses. 🐶💋

While some pups splashed in their pools, Parker preferred snuggles and sunshine. This 7-year-old lovebug is deaf, but that doesn’t stop him from living life to the fullest. He walks beautifully on a leash, adores people, and has so much affection to give. 💛

Parker is patiently waiting for his forever person to come give him the life he truly deserves. Could it be you?

This sweet girl came to the shelter as a stray about a month ago and has since been spayed and showered with love. Ruby is now officially available for adoption! 💕

She’s incredibly soft and absolutely adores gentle pets. While she’s not the biggest fan of being held just yet, we believe she’ll come around once she feels safe and secure in a loving forever home. 🏡
