Wobbles, our Cerebellar Hypoplasia kitten
Here’s a quick video of Wobbles, our adorable cerebellar hypoplasia (CH) boy. Wobbles seems to have a mild/moderate case of CH and is really thriving as an indoor kitty. He navigates the entire house, plays with the non-CH cats, and uses the litterbox like an old pro! He even learned how to go down the stairs the other day. His sister Bounce (not in the video) is much less affected than he is. These CH kittens are so special!

Our new foster kittens with cerebellar hypoplasia aka “wobbly cat syndrome” have officially arrived home. To say we’re obsessed would be a huge understatement 😍

One wobbly void baby, coming right up! 🖤🖤
This little guy has suspected cerebellar hypoplasia, also known as “wobbly cat syndrome”. CH is a neurological condition where the cerebellum doesn’t develop properly, causing jerky movements, uncoordinated motion and a loss of balance. It doesn’t cause any pain to the kitty, and it’s not contagious.
This baby has a vet appt set up in Postville tomorrow morning. A second sibling with a milder case of the wobbles will also tag along for a checkup. We’re so excited to meet these babies and get them on track to living their fullest and best lives!
The cats got a new toy today. I don’t think the “Golden Girl” kittens Rose, Blanche and Dorothy have stopped playing with it yet 🤣
Volume 🆙 for this video! We’ve been working on weaning with some of our littles, and these six kittens are all FULLY eating canned + dry kitten food now 👏🏻 👏🏻 They have dry food available to them 24/7, but it’s pretty clear they strongly prefer the canned stuff 😂

So glad Olin’s foster was able to get him caught and to safety. Safe to say I think our newest little rescue is enjoying the indoor life 😂
