Here is a little update on Mr. Oliver, It has been a tough couple of weeks he has to has a backpack full of chemo for 28 days straight if anything happens and the pump in his backpack stops for more than 4 hours, we have to start his whole 28 days again we did have a few hiccups where his line came undone, and his pump stopped a few times but not too long. we went in to have his last bag of chemo changed and found out that he had gotten an infection in his port. so, we had to put him on some high antibiotics to see if that would clear it up on top of that we had to have a new NG tube placed to get the antibiotics in him, and if it didn't, we would have to have to port removed, well the infection didn't clear up and we were admitted to the hospital on Friday October 18th. then got scheduled for surgery Saturday morning to have the port removed. we got through the surgery just fine and now we will stay in the hospital for about 2 days to have antibiotics through his iv to make sure the infection doesn't go crazy. after we wait for about a week, we will have a picc-line placed till his chest heals up (takes about a month) then we will put another port back in. I know I say it every time but Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes for my little boy. and thank you for still supporting my small business :) 🐾🐶

Here is a update on Mr. Oliver. we still have a long journey to go but he is strong. thank you all so much for your continued support and prayers.

Update: Oliver started his 28 days of chemo on Monday September 16th 2024 he also had a LP done that same day. Oliver got admitted to the hospital for 4 days while his body got used to the new chemo. Oliver was extremely sick for the 1st 2 days with a fever and he was throwing up. after his body got used to the chemo and the fever pasted we got to come home with a backpack that has to be changed every 7 days to put more chemo in the bag.

We have had a few hic-ups with the backpack where the tubes have come disconnected and the alarm has gone off and the tube has gotten pinched and where he has had blood back up in his tube. but we are still going strong.
we have to make sure that his tubes and pump to his chemo is working at all times because if it stops or anything happens where its not working we have to start the whole 28 days over again. that means be admitted to the hospital again.

Oliver has a Lp scheduled for the 17th of September and then he will be admitted to the hospital for 2 to 3 days because he will be starting a new round of chemo. then he will have a backpack with his chemo in it for 28 days.

*Update* Oliver had to be admitted to the hospital 08-29-24 he was running a fever then his blood count was too low to be about to send him home. We are hoping to be able to go home very soon.

Oliver was diagnosed March 12, 2024 with B-cell lymphoblastic Leukemia. Oliver started acting sick about six months before we got his diagnoses, it started with a fever he had for over a month and had been pale for 3 months, we took him into his doctor multiple times I found a few little lumps on the back of his neck and took him in to the doctor for that also, I was told that it is just a childhood virus going on and he will be ok.
Oliver was at his sitters house where he had a little accident with another child, where Oliver got his leg hurt we took him to the hospital for children and they said his leg was had a tiny hairline fractur so they put a cast on his leg, 2 weeks after the cast he landed on his tailbone and we rushed him up to the ER because he was screaming in pain and had cold sweats, we got to the ER and was told there is nothing they can do and sent us home.

2 days after that Oliver was having a hard time breathing so we rushed him to the ER again, at that time they rushed him back to a room to get him on some oxygen. they got him on the monitors where they found out Olivers oxygen was at 79. they tested him for RSV, Covid, and the flu they all came back negative. they were going to send us home after they got him oxygen levels back up. before they could do that a PA came in and started to ask questions about how long he has been pale and if he had anything I noticed about him lately, I told her about everything that was going on so they decided to do blood work and a CT scan. By the time Oliver was done with his CT we got back in the room and was told we are going to a hospital with a Oncology floor because they might have found some leukemia in the blood work.

We got up to the other hospital the next morning Oliver went in for a bone marrow draw, the results came back positive for leukemia. at that time we decided to start chemotherapy Oliver got a pic line placed till they could put a port in. he had 3 treatments before he got his port in, then he went in for surgery to have the port placed. during that time Oliver had 6 lumbar punctures as well with another 2 morrow draws. Oliver then had chemo treatments once a week for 2 months then after then once every 10 days, now we are going to 4 days a weeks then a week off then 4 days again.

Oliver went in for a Peg treatment where he had a horrible reaction where Oliver stopped breathing and had to get a epi pen injection to get him breathing again. We had to stop that treatment and go a different way and that meant Oliver had to get an injection every other day for 2 weeks. Oliver has started a different type of chemo where his hair started falling out so we did give him a haircut so the hair wouldn’t fall in his face or all over. Starting in September Oliver will have a backpack for his treatment that he will have on him for 28 days.

Oliver had to get a NG tube placed because he was having a really hard time taking his medications. we are just starting this journey and will be on it for at least 2 years.

Oliver is such a blessing to me and my family, and every day is a blessing with him. Thank you so much for reading this part of Olivers story and considering us for any donations and prayers. Oliver is a fighter. some days are harder than other days and some days are better than some days, but this little boy takes every day and makes it a good day. Olivers life was turned upside down with all of this and it is still a bit but with the help of our loving family and everyone I know he will kick cancers butt and be able to grow big and strong and have a amazing life. Oliver loves to see different kinds of animals and fish it is one oh his favorite ways to pass the time when he is getting his chemo treatments and passing the time.

Here is an update on Mr. Oliver thank you everyone for your continued support and prayers.
