My second total knee replacement was on Dec.11🙂
UPDATE ... 1-03-2024
Almost graduated from the walker, to the 4-footed cane!! I am SOOOOOO over being limited, LOL! Pushing myself ... still a long ways to go ... but happy with the progress!! 😁❤️
UPDATE ... 12-23-2023
Healing is coming along! :-) This coming Christmas Monday will be 14 days post surgery!!!
I am able to work at my computer for 20-30 minutes at a time, a few times a day - that's about all my knee can handle, at this stage. But feels good to "get back to work", LOL! :-)
Rick drives me into the city on Fridays, for physical therapy - plus, the at-home daily therapy. I am making good progress weaning off the oxycodone pain pills (down to just 2x a day!!) with a lesser pain pill tramadol 2x day, too.
Still in the walker - and hoping to be able to "graduate" to a cane, next week! :-D
UPDATE ... Surgery went well - and now resting, icing the knee, and good ol' Oxy to manage the pain. It's a long recovery time - but the first steps have begun! :-D

THE NIGHT BEFORE CORG-MAS !!!

'Twas the night before Corgmas and all through the shire not a toy was squeaking not even a tire. The pups were all nestled all snug in their beds while visions of noms danced in their heads. And I in my thunder shirt and mom in her suit had just settled down for a long winter sploot. When out in the yard there arose such a sound I raced from my bed to see what was around. I ran to the window and looked outside not knowing what might be awry. When what to my wondering eyes should appear but a miniature sleigh and eight tiny corgdeer. The driver was furry and cute as a bug who wiggled and jiggled when he shook his nub. With a mighty baroo he let out a sound calling the corgdeer to jump with a bound. On Tucker, on Denby, on Sherlock and Mollie. On Panzer, on Princess, on Leon and Ollie. To the top of the bush to the top of the wall now frap away frap way frap away all. They swoosh to the roof and came to a stop as the driver jumped down the chimney with a plop. His face and his nub were all covered with soot at he went to work filling the stockings and boots. He left yummy noms and squeaky toys galore...he even took time to sploot on the floor. And this enchanting pup we know as Corgi Claus let out a baroo and flew up,the chimney in a second or two. He jumped in his sleigh and gave a sharp bark and the corgdeer took flight and flew off into the dark. I heard a baroo as he flew out of sight "Frappy Christmas to all and to all a good night.

These two ladies LOVE each other so much! (Honey Bear & Moonshine's Madness) :-) Shiner likes a "little cave" to nap in, so I put a carrier with a towel, just outside of my fenced-in office-whelping area, in our living room. (At the moment, we have an expecting momma, inside my little office - due any day now!!) :-)

Hello, Corgi Lovers! 🙂 ..... From Mar.25 to Apr.01 - I will be closed. After having a severe limp for eight long years - finally got approved for surgery!! On this Friday 25th - will have a total knee replacement and will be focusing on healing & physical therapy, for that week. .... Yes, it takes a whole year to completely heal, but for the first week after surgery, I need a little time to focus on that 😉 So, for that week - it might be several days before I get to emails / texts - afterwards, I expect to be back to my normal prompt replies! 🙂 ❤

Our little momma, Ree - a daughter out of our Thor's Thunder (US foundation lines) and Heather (imported fm Norway, CH lines) ........ She decided she'd have her OWN time table, and Sunday was her night, LOL! It's been a smooth and calm whelping, her first litter - there was even an unexpected pup (xray didn't catch him.) Seven pups - 4 Merles and 3 Tri
