Shady Lane Cottage, Great Danes. American/European cross Great Danes. Our Great Danes are part of the family. We have Puppies for forever homes only. Puppies available on occasion.

Working with 2 other well established Dane breeders my desire is to continue their great work by giving you, The Great Dane lovers, opportunity to adopt a quality well bred Great Dane. INDOOR/PET HOMES/RETURN CONTRACT.

Due to owners impatience and lack of available fosters and resources the merle was given away by owner and the harle was euthanized by owner.

Sadly we see this all too often with Great Danes.
Rescue Facilities are not capable of providing shelter for many of the Larger breeds especially on short notice. Life rarely gives us a lot of advance notice. It is heartbreaking

We have been contacted about a beloved pair of Danes in need of new homes. Either together or apart, this situation is urgent and we need to move quickly to get these sweethearts into stable situations.

One is a 3 year old male (unaltered) and a 4yr old female (spayed) with no reported behavioral issues that through no fault of their own or their owners, they need to be placed in new fosters or homes as soon as possible.

Please message me through messenger for either a foster or adopter application and please remember the application process takes time and we will need to do a home visit, veterinary references as well as contact any landlords ahead of time.
So even if these two are placed elsewhere there will always be others coming who will need help so don’t wait, get your application process started!
