Yesterday was such a bitter/sweet day here at the clinic as it was Connie’s last day! After almost 28 years at Walton County Animal Clinic she is retiring. To say she will be missed is an understatement! We do wish her the very best and are extremely happy for her in her retirement.

If you missed our client education event last week…you missed out! We had a great time! Dr. Miller did an awesome presentation on general wellness. What we test for and most importantly WHY we test for things during your pets yearly visit. What that information tells us. And why we recommend vaccines for your pet. We received some great suggestions on future client education events. Our goal with these events is to educate the community on health issues with their pet. So we can further help you take the best care possible of your fur baby. You play a major role in your pets health!

Many of you may know our technician Susie. For those of you who don’t Susie has been with WCAC for a little over a year and is in the process of getting her certification. Through that program she applied, interviewed and was selected to travel to Africa and volunteer at the Namibia Wildlife Sanctuary! She will be working alongside sanctuary staff for 2 weeks caring for orphaned or injured wildlife. We are super proud of you Susie! Congrats on this wonderful opportunity!
