Hi friends. Our sweet BB has contracted Blastomycosis. Until his diagnosis, we’d never heard of this fungal infection before. What started in May as what the vet thought was conjunctivitis quickly led to B losing the vision in his left eye. After a trip to the VCA’s ER and a whole mess of tests, he was diagnosed with blastomycosis. His levels were high, but they were confident the medication would work. It felt like forever before we had our first appointment with the ophthalmologist. Sadly, she found a lesion in his right eye. His latest test shows, instead of improving, his levels are now off the charts. So we are currently at B taking a boatload of meds, blind in one eye & can barely see out of the other, but finally eating and playing some. We are working at getting him healthy and gaining back some of the weight he lost.

One year ago we received the happiest news we’d gotten in a long time.
We are 3 1/2 weeks away from the 1st birthdays of final first generation Hellfire Legacy puppies, hold your tails because you won’t believe the transformations of these boys! And Hope, of course 😊

Today is a day of remembrance for many things. One of them is that it would of been our very own God of Hellfire, Dr Hank Jones Sr’s, 3rd birthday. The last 11 months have been difficult without him, especially him missing out on the puppies. But every day each of the pups, Ellie E, Lou, Ellie F, Lexie, Blue P, Rhino, Tonka, Luca, Blue G, Hank Jr, BB, and Hope, remind us of our boy and keep smiles in our hearts. Happy heavenly birthday Hankaroo 💙

I’d like to introduce you to the sassiest girl from our first litter, Lexie. Just look at this face 😍 I think little Hope has Lexie goals 😂
Lexie is eagerly anticipating the start of camping season. Last summer while camping she spent her time swimming, kayaking, and snoozing in her very own camp chair! 🤔 I wonder if she still fits?
