I use essential oils a lot!! Here’s a good one passed along from a fellow FB’r

🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾

Tick season has arrived.

Ticks hate the smell of lemon, orange, cinnamon, lavender, peppermint, and rose geranium,cedarwood thyme,so they'll avoid latching on to anything that smells of those items. Any of these or a combination can be used in DIY sprays or added to almond oil and rubbed on exposed.

1 oz Any carrier oil such as Witch Hazel, almond oil or lotion.
7 drops Geranium.
4 drops Peppermint.
4 drops Thyme.
4 drops Cedarwood or Lavender.

Eucalyptus Oil. Not only is eucalyptus oil a tick killer, but it also makes for an effective repellent as well, and it's naturally safe and effective on the body. Mix with carrier oil. NOTE: Eucalyptus is toxic for dogs and cats.
Use caution when using any essential oil around pets.

Pets, A homemade spray solution of one part vinegar and one part water helps keep ticks and fleas away from your pets. Pour the solution in a spray bottle and spray directly onto your pets, but be careful not to get it in their eyes.

Meet Teddy and Quincy, they are my ‘senior’ Interns. Some CEO’s think their interns should be grad. students (we have one - he’s a pug named Louie) but my dog-ployees voted on senior citizens because we believe they have the most wisdom and experience.

Neither of them have formal degrees but they do come with a ton of life experience and score high on the emotional intelligence chart and are in charge of incorporating the most important things in our corporate culture. Things they no longer teach in
school: empathy, integrity, kindness, resilience, wisdom, emotional discipline, humility, courage, creativity, authenticity, patriotism and respect, forgiveness and most importantly, gratitude.

They are my watch dogs and like a tribe in Africa, when one of the dog-ployees falls short on any of these traits, all the dog-ployees gather and fill up that one fallen dog-ployee with love until they are raised back up to exemplify the standards we espouse. No punitive damages here. Only ❤️‼️

Meet Aloha, he’s pretty famous in these parts. He’s my new Senior Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions- the latest additions to my pet sitting business. ❤️🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾‼️. He’s a true European Boxer who ensures we have the best acquisitions of sitters.

He is in charge of deal sourcing, valuation, due diligence, negotiations, and post-merger integration. He also checks the health and performance of target companies, and identifying potential synergies and risks in M&A deals.

Meet my new English Vice President of Finance - Brutes - the latest additions to my pet sitting business. ❤️🐾🐾❤️🐾🐾‼️. He’s a true English gentlemen who enjoys a good cigar and single malt scotch at corporate events.

He is in charge of budgets, financial, planning and analysis (FP&A), investor relations and revenue recognition, so the investment side of the house is leveraging our macro economics. We are well represented. Brutes believes if we all work together, we will not be impacted by the recession and those who value dog-ployees. In fact, he says we have budget for a new Kombucha keg.

The most exciting thing about building a business is always the launch - because you put your best efforts out there and 💥 it takes off (or not). I’m starting to get daily inquiries now and with summer HERE - it’s important to get your dates secured. Today, I picked up three new clients through referrals and I even got to break away and play some pickleball.
