Looking for a new fur baby to add to your family?🐾 Meet Yuengling! 💛
This 5-year-old female lab mix is as sweet as can be and will win you over with her adorable puppy dog eyes and friendly, playful demeanor. Yuengling loves her stuffed toys, and she's also super affectionate and will make a great snuggle buddy. Here's what we know about this lovely lady: she's very food motivated, so bribing her with treats will definitely get you on her good side. Who doesn't love a food motivated and eager to learn pooch? She's also friendly and seems to get along well with other dogs. She seems to do okay with dog savvy cats but does need a home without birds or small animals. She also would do best in a home with no kids. Overall, Yuengling is a wonderful companion and an all-around great dog. If you're looking for a new fur baby, why not come and meet Yuengling? She can't wait to meet you and shower you with kisses!

✨Meet our miracle crew ✨These four kittens were found in a dire situation and have made an amazing comeback!

An HCHS volunteer found them alone on a trail on a cold, rainy day, suffering from severe hypothermia and near death. Luckily, our vet tech, Beth, was able to act fast, getting them on a heating pad and slowly bringing them back to life. It wasn’t an easy journey—they battled hypothermia, malnourishment, and sickness—but thanks to Beth’s care, they pulled through.

Kenny, Buffy, Lazarus, and Cordelia are now healthy and thriving, and they're eager to begin the next chapter of their lives with loving families.

P.S. Don't miss Buffy and Kenny’s extra toes—we're pretty sure they give them superpowers.

Nova’s got her bags packed and is ready to wow as the only pet in the household. She knows commands like sit, spin, and stay, and she’s very treat-motivated—aka smart and eager to keep learning! Plus, she’s full grown at ~40 lbs and perfectly proportioned to keep the foot of the bed cozy on blustery winter nights.

🚨Goofball alert! 🚨 Arnold may look serious in his photos, but trust us—his silly, fun-loving side is not to be missed. He’s full of personality and ready to bring joy and laughter to the right home. His foster mom says he's friendly, affectionate, extremely smart, and has impeccable house manners. He's respectful of belongings, including food, and loves to go for car rides. 🚗💕

Arnold is an active, energetic dog, who needs physical and mental stimulation, but settles nicely during quiet times and doesn’t mind staying home alone for short periods of time. He's eager to learn and doing very well in training—he knows sit, down, stay, heel, and come. With some guidance he could excel in almost anything (e.g. dog sports, tracking, agility).

Arnold craves gentle leadership and with a little bit of time and effort could become a once in a lifetime companion. He would do best in an adult only home and has been introduced to a few female dogs and done very well with them, but would need a meet and greet if you have another dog.

Looking for a four-legged reason to be extra thankful this season? Meet Coors, aspiring sous-chef and turkey taste tester in waiting!🍗🍗🍗 This sweet boy can be a little shy at first but with a few treats in hand, he’s quick to come out of his shell. Coors loves outdoor adventures, car rides, and cheesing for photos. He's neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and 5/6 years old.

He’d thrive in a home with a fenced yard, lots of outdoor adventures, and someone patient to help him come out of his shell.

Our annual Holiday for the Heart Tree Celebration is less than one month away✨🎄 Join us Saturday, December 7 at the Delaware County Historical Association and enjoy beautifully decorated trees, live music, a bake sale, and unique holiday shopping—all to benefit the Humane Society! 🎁🍪

Admission is a $5 donation (includes one raffle ticket), and kids enter free with a parent. Don’t miss the raffle for beautifully decorated holiday trees from 3-4pm.
