Myrrh is an adorable kitten with an even better personality! She is around 10 weeks old. Myrrh loves playing with toys and is great with other cats/kittens. She’s loves attention and being pet. She would make a great addition to any family. 🐾🐈

We are absolutely blown away by the generosity and love shown to us and the shelter animals the past few weeks. We put out a wish for canned dog food and treats and have gotten more than enough!

🐾🎄✨Special delivery from Santa!✨🎁🎅🏼

Meet Layla, the tiny pup with a huge personality! This little lady is about 35-40 pounds of pure energy. Despite her small size, she more than makes up for it with her big attitude. Layla is a sweet and affectionate girl who is a classic "Huge-Personality-in-a-Small-Package" type of dog. However, she's very unsure and nervous around new people. It will take some time, patience, and lots of treats, but once Layla warms up to you, you'll have a funny and loving companion for life. Layla needs an adult-only home with no kids or other pets. Her perfect home would be a low-traffic, calm and predictable space where she can take her time exploring and getting comfortable at her own pace. She's a special girl who needs a patient and understanding adopter who will give her the time and space she needs to blossom. There are 10 beautiful handmade lamps in Stone & Sawyer's holiday windows for sale with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the homeless cats and dogs at the Humane Society! 8 of the lamps are priced low and are for sale on a first come, first served basis and 2 are on auction to the highest bidder. 💡

Meet Holiday! 🎄🎁

Holiday is an adorable 4 month old female kitten. She is so cute that she almost looks like a stuffed animal! She loves other cats but is still adjusting to dogs. Holiday came in as a stray and was suffering from hypothermia. Luckily she pulled through and is thriving now. She is a great mouse catcher too but must be indoor only! 🐾

Remi wants a home for the Howlidays! 🎄🐾

Remi is an adorable and friendly young female with a love for walks and treats. She has an eager-to-learn spirit and would make a great companion for just about anyone. She is much smaller than she appears in photos and is fully grown at 40lb. Remi has done really well with other dogs and cats here at the shelter. If you're looking for a fun-loving and curious pup, Remi is the one for you! She would love a home just in time for the holidays!

Looking for a new fur baby to add to your family?🐾 Meet Yuengling! 💛
This 5-year-old female lab mix is as sweet as can be and will win you over with her adorable puppy dog eyes and friendly, playful demeanor. Yuengling loves her stuffed toys, and she's also super affectionate and will make a great snuggle buddy. Here's what we know about this lovely lady: she's very food motivated, so bribing her with treats will definitely get you on her good side. Who doesn't love a food motivated and eager to learn pooch? She's also friendly and seems to get along well with other dogs. She seems to do okay with dog savvy cats but does need a home without birds or small animals. She also would do best in a home with no kids. Overall, Yuengling is a wonderful companion and an all-around great dog. If you're looking for a new fur baby, why not come and meet Yuengling? She can't wait to meet you and shower you with kisses!

✨Meet our miracle crew ✨These four kittens were found in a dire situation and have made an amazing comeback!

An HCHS volunteer found them alone on a trail on a cold, rainy day, suffering from severe hypothermia and near death. Luckily, our vet tech, Beth, was able to act fast, getting them on a heating pad and slowly bringing them back to life. It wasn’t an easy journey—they battled hypothermia, malnourishment, and sickness—but thanks to Beth’s care, they pulled through.

Kenny, Buffy, Lazarus, and Cordelia are now healthy and thriving, and they're eager to begin the next chapter of their lives with loving families.

P.S. Don't miss Buffy and Kenny’s extra toes—we're pretty sure they give them superpowers.

Nova’s got her bags packed and is ready to wow as the only pet in the household. She knows commands like sit, spin, and stay, and she’s very treat-motivated—aka smart and eager to keep learning! Plus, she’s full grown at ~40 lbs and perfectly proportioned to keep the foot of the bed cozy on blustery winter nights.

🚨Goofball alert! 🚨 Arnold may look serious in his photos, but trust us—his silly, fun-loving side is not to be missed. He’s full of personality and ready to bring joy and laughter to the right home. His foster mom says he's friendly, affectionate, extremely smart, and has impeccable house manners. He's respectful of belongings, including food, and loves to go for car rides. 🚗💕

Arnold is an active, energetic dog, who needs physical and mental stimulation, but settles nicely during quiet times and doesn’t mind staying home alone for short periods of time. He's eager to learn and doing very well in training—he knows sit, down, stay, heel, and come. With some guidance he could excel in almost anything (e.g. dog sports, tracking, agility).

Arnold craves gentle leadership and with a little bit of time and effort could become a once in a lifetime companion. He would do best in an adult only home and has been introduced to a few female dogs and done very well with them, but would need a meet and greet if you have another dog.
