We have Max. He is a 14 weeks old French Bulldog puppy that is now at our shelter looking for a good home. Max has been with us now for 1 weeks and he has been updated on all his shots, very friendly with other pets and also good with kids. Max will be a perfect puppy for any family that needs a new member in their household. Maddie is a complete love bug. She loves to play with her siblings and then cuddle with the staff here at the ranch. She loves to play with toys. She will need toys for teething. Hi all! We wanted to take a moment to announce we have sadly decided to put a halt on our efforts in Cleveland, TX.

We started these efforts back in May 2021 after we lost a precious soul named Rose to parvo. We wanted to help prevent other innocent dogs from dying from preventable diseases, so that’s what we set out to do (for free). We had no idea what we were doing or where this journey would take us, but we jumped all in. And since then, we’ve have helped ~6,000 dogs.

It’s been a rollercoaster of a journey and one we never expected. As the number of dogs we saw grew, so did the “work” and stress. The admin work was pretty much nonstop, and battling that combined with normal rescue activity, plus our jobs and every day lives has caught up to us. Not to mention it’s been quite defeating seeing majority of these dogs discarded: many end up deceased, at shelters all over the city, or found as strays. And almost every single time, the owner is unreachable or doesn’t want them back.

We have been pretty quiet this year so far, but we are actively searching for new vets to work with us to sterilize the dogs still on our spay/neuter list, and are focusing on adopting out the dogs currently in our care.

We have been unsuccessful in finding another organization to take over these efforts but we welcome any help to the area and are here for guidance.

We don’t know what the future holds, but Cleveland will remain in our hearts, and we truly hope to be back helping in the future. It’s important to recognize those running nonprofit organizations are all humans that have to take care of themselves before helping others.

To those who ever volunteered alongside us and/or supported our efforts this far, thank you so very much. You guys were a hero to ~6,000 dogs. We are proud of what we have accomplished and hope you all are proud too.
