Good morning, 2 by 2 family! I wanted to give you a quick Welcome to Our World update. You may have noticed that it's been a few months since I posted a Welcome to Our World. The reality is that it has been an incredibly challenging task for me to even think about these last few months. Here's why........

Our very first Welcome to Our World, my most loyal and cherished companion of my life, Halo, crossed the rainbow bridge just hours before Hurricane Milton made landfall back in October. This loss has devastated me as she and I were together nearly 15 and a half years and I just haven't been able to come here and share anyone else with you. I will do that soon but until then......... My most precious girl, Halo ❤️

If your pet has trouble with their appetite in your absence, I'll do my best to get the job done!

This young man was missing his family but he was also taking some medication that was making him feel a little queasy. He decide he preferred his meals be served on the lanai and hand fed 🤷🏻‍♀️ Consider it done, sir! 👑

Hey there, 2 by 2 family! Welcome to "Welcome to Our World" where we introduce you to some of the creatures that we share our home with now and some that have been with us along the way these last 25 years!

This month we have two birthdays but we'll only showcase the birthday girl 🩷 (The birthday boy will get his own month.) Popcorn is an 8 year old medium-haired tabby cat. Jill picked Popcorn to be our cat way back when Popcorn was 6 weeks old and Jill was just shy of 3 years old. I remember the ladies I worked with telling me that cats choose their people and I thought they were crazy. We'll it's true!! Jill belongs to Popcorn and Popcorn belongs to Jill ❤️ Despite the fact that I (Jessi) take care of all of the care and feeding, Popcorn will choose Jill over me every single time! She's sweet, shy, a little bit spicy with her brothers, and has the tiniest little voice. 2 by 2 family, meet Popcorn!

I have received texts from two different 2 by 2 families in the past 4 days with very sad news.

Molly was the sweetest, most tolerant kitty who purred all the way through being medicated each and every night ❤️

Boudreaux was a shy, deaf, vision impaired epileptic who chose his friends very carefully. He was very nervous during our first days together but in the end I do believe he would have called me a friend ❤️

Rest easy, Molly and Boudreaux 🌈

This month we have yet another birthday! Noah is a short-haired tabby cat who is completely TAIL-LESS! (So fascinating to me!) His former owner left him behind when they moved and we just couldn't let him go without. So when we were ordered to evacuate due to an incoming storm, we brought Noah inside, he evacuated with us, and he hasn't been back outside since ❤️ Noah loves string cheese and belly rubs and is just the best boy! We probably love him a bit more than he cares for 💗
