UPDATE

Blackie got 8 teeth extracted, and her eye cleaned out probably, she is at least 10 yrs old according to our vet. Shes on the road to recovery and will be ready for adoption soon.

Roxanne has luckily found her forever home already!

Princess & stella are awating their spa days as they both came down with kennel cough, but are now recovered.

On friday we got plea for help for some smaller dogs that were part of a confiscation case/backyard breeding operation. We pulled 4 out of the 9. 2 are very sweet and outgoing the other 2 are very shy & scared and have never known love. One is missing an eye. They also all have ears that have been cut, “at home” they all are in desperate need of dentals, which is $200-500 per a dog and depending on if any extractions are needed. They are all currently battling kennel cough as well from their time at the shelter. We desperately need donations to get them the care they very much need and deserve.

We also could use dry & wet dog food as well as puppy pads.

We've had numerous successful adoptions over the past two weeks! We are thrilled for everyone involved. Our sincere gratitude goes out to the exceptional adopters. We are particularly delighted that Fendi and Foxy have found ideal forever homes! This is what makes all our efforts worthwhile! 🥰💜🐾

So far September has been a hard month for CLP. Few adoptions and many medical expenses and hungry fosters to feed… we would be so grateful if you could help us out with donating.
